17/4/2008 21:41 | Exactly so, htrocka. The offer will be snaffled up in no time if there is any whiff of hydrocarbons from #703, which I expect there to be. | drewz
17/4/2008 21:30 | the timing is interesting...in that the success of the rights issue is dependant on solid results of 703...hopefully out soon. | htrocka
17/4/2008 21:24 | Hope so htrocka, I don't have a position at the moment so neutral either way... | unionhall
17/4/2008 18:09 | this was mentioned as a possibility in the last rns....The company have had some rough luck these last couple of years....the graph indicates a recovery. (and a double bottom) I`m in..... ps....Union....the graph indicates that this is going to 16p.....and don`t forget, the results of well 703...still to come. | htrocka
17/4/2008 14:04 | Sorry - didn't mean go down as in over the top deramp. But to the rights issue price of 12.5p - if only for a while. Maybe not.... | unionhall
17/4/2008 11:38 | IEC did not go down even though it's rights were 42% below the price. 1 right for every 6 shares held as I read it 1 right = 1 share + 1 Half warrant. Where the warrant is exercisable only if the price is a lot higher at $0.45 Is that really bad? I don't know personally. Will watch with interest. | omellete
17/4/2008 11:00 | Today's rights issue should help it go down..... Priced at 25c (12.5p) for a share and half a warrant....... | unionhall
17/4/2008 06:22 | the chart can`t decide whether to go north or south? | htrocka
16/4/2008 15:32 | Was that your 10K Robin? | omellete
16/4/2008 15:31 | Normally the UK is more expensive than Canada | omellete
16/4/2008 15:30 | UK and canadian prices are exactly in synch at the moment. Th canadian rise I think is merely based on last trade - closed on the bid of 27c overnight, last trade was on the offer at 29.5c hence 9% reported increase. Only £1500 worth traded to date. | unionhall
16/4/2008 15:17 | yep, have picked up a small number again for fun no advice intended | robin_of_loxley
16/4/2008 15:09 | Something up in Canada? UK price is now definitely out of step. | omellete
15/4/2008 21:36 | Baktygaryn #703 Spudded Mar 20, 28 days to TD 2,500m... Perhaps next week allowing some time for reviewing/testing. But could be this week with luck.... | unionhall
15/4/2008 18:17 | I`m hoping by the end of the week on 703 | htrocka
15/4/2008 17:56 | Should be getting drilling news on these shallow wells now over the next few weeks. Make or break for CEK. | drewz
01/4/2008 19:23 | drewz...chill out... I`m a great fan of William Ramsey, I`ve followed him through Nelson Resources and he knows Kazhastan like the back of his hand. He`s undoubtedly the right man for the job. Fingers crossed for the 703 results...it would not suprise me if the new farm in partners were Lukoil...It`s an interesting share, | htrocka
01/4/2008 02:11 | htrocka, you are highlighting the usual caveats that all Canadian stocks are obliged to include under risks and going concern just so they cover their backs. They are always reporting as if they might close down tomorrow. ACU is just as bad. I don't expect CEK to be giving up its business any time soon - possible farm-in - possible good shallow drill results imminent - possible new fund raising in the wings. Lots still to play for and the share price flat on its back meantime. | drewz
31/3/2008 21:55 | or, a potential capital increase. .....hmmm don`t like the sound of that. The Company reported a net loss of $13,208,688 and negative funds generated from operations of $8,825,229 for the year ended December 31, 2007. The Company had net working capital of $4,615,869. As a result, there is substantial doubt about the Company's ability to continue as a going concern. The Company's continuation is dependent upon the ability to raise capital and the success of its drilling and exploration program. The Company plans a potential rights offering, however, there can be no assurance that the Company will be successful with this offering or other initiatives it undertakes. .........great. ps...the TSX has had the news for about 6 hours now....and very little share price movement. on the other hand...all depends on the 703 test results in about 25 days time ....if they`re any good....the cash should`nt be hard to find. | htrocka
21/3/2008 11:54 | look on the bright side...the smallest piece of positive news....and it can only go one way. | htrocka
21/3/2008 10:05 | In fairness not as bad as many small oilers... Perhaps it is better being unloved.... | unionhall
21/3/2008 09:24 | the graph says it all...it`s an unloved share. | htrocka
20/3/2008 16:33 | Baktygaryn #703 spudded today - 28 days to TD with two targets in between.... (is this the quietest O&G BB on AFVFN ?) | unionhall
12/3/2008 01:46 | come on Cleo | tarzanhey
10/3/2008 12:30 | drewz - 2 Mar'08 - 13:27 - 2 of 3 | robin_of_loxley |
