The newly vaccinated will want to get away.

£37 is doable within a year or 2

US beds occupied by Covid patients 59,000
Dropping by 20% every week
Almost back to levels seen last Summer

New cases are down a massive 85%
Barely hitting 50,000 now
Deaths today ~ 1,000; down from the peak of >4,000

Many states are now seeing new cases just in the hundreds.

May not get that high so quick but CCL will come out of this leaner and more cash generative. Plenty of upside fuelled by very high demand to get on holiday

US admissions down 20% in 7 days
Now at the same number as seen in July.
Cases plummeting; 60,000 past 24hrs; down 80% in 4 weeks

Same here, the potential of a new vaccine resistant variant in any port flirting with the vulnerability of the key demographic of the cruise industry is just too much for me to invest. High risk on all fronts.....

undervaluedassets,

(Word gets around) I came here to specifically to congratulate you with regard to post 3258, and to give you a thumbs up on your post. There are too many jealous people in the world and as investors we should celebrate good performance when it comes. Well done.

One thing I will say is that if you put a lot of eggs in a particlar basket there will of coure tend to be a a correlation and so it is NOT beyond realms of possibility that you will see similar strong days in the future!

I had already noted that yesterday was a "rotation" day: The recovery plays really kicked in yesterday (similarly the more resilient "lockdown" stocks did not do so well).

on CCl
I have to say that the chart has "buy here" written all over it. I dont currently hold but good luck to all of you that do.

Well done undervalued.

Will you perhaps hedge a little with the 5.75% Senior Unsecured Notes which will be '..... fully and unconditionally guaranteed on an unsecured basis, .......'

If it weren't for the fact that this is offered to private 'investors', it would be funny. Right up there with the description of George W Bush having graduated in the top 75% of his class (i.e. he graduated in the lowest 1/4 of the class)

This will never happen to me again

I bought "recovery" stocks when the vaccine was announced on the 9th of November 2020. So far a satisfactory experience.

But yesterday I had the astonishing experience of having 5 out of the top 7 gainers in the FTSE 350 in my portfolio.

at no 1 in ftse 350 yesterday was Wh Smith (12.34% gain on the day)
at no 2 in ftse 350 yesterday was National Express (10.98% gain on the day)
at no 4 in ftse 350 yesterday was TUI Travel (9.15% gain on the day)
at no 6 in ftse 350 yesterday was Carnival (7.92% gain on the day)
at no 7 in ftse 350 yesterday was Mitchells and Butlers 7.31% gain)

Yes folks I have them all.

As I said this will never happen again

However please feel free to call me a guru.

ALL RESTRICTIONS MUST BE LIFTED BY END OF APRIL BORIS TOLD BY FELLOW MP'S

Meanwhile US admissions continue to fall by thousands every day - bed occupancy is almost back to those seen in the summer.

Carnival used to be one of my favourite stocks, a very well run company and a cash cow. But covid has blown it out of the water (pardon the pun). A year's lost revenue and the danger of another pandemic creating further havoc has made this uninvestable for me. A shame.

Well......i would like to hope that the stunned silence is not ENTIRELY down to the stupidity of my question. But i take it that judging by the share price movement since opening - that the answer is 'NEEDS MORE MONEY AND FAST.....SELL ! Very happy to be guided otherwise though....

Think the key on this one is if/when more funding might be needed. Any comments on this much appreciated from those who follow this closely or know the company well. Thank you.
