For the last few years we always headed north on the longest day. Don't know why, but it usually happens that we're out in the sun at 2am on the longest day with whoever's supplying the ents (russian violinists, Cilla impersonator, some senior pc plod, weird Croydon comedian last time, all happy to let us join in and drink their fizz). So round UK cruises are great. Furthermore I think our insurance will be ok even without covid cover, so I think we can actually book now when I get round to it.Not sure it's the time to buy the shares though. They won't go bust, but I expect the Saudis to dilute our holdings to death one of these days. A few years till cruising gets back to normal, with lots of full ships.

Believe it or not, the around the UK or the west coast including Ireland are very popular cruises which could always be described as not cheap but extremely popular. Also, June is a very good time weather-wise to visit this part of the world. However, with the number of operators who intend to cruise this part of the world as cruise startups then those ports that can take large cruise ships will find them very busy.

imo the uk cruises will be rammed. Only uk vaccinated residents allowed so it will be very safe. Small steps but extremely important ones for the tourism industry. Suet

Good news mixed with bad news today. Launch of UK cruises on new ship but then more pausing of cruises planned for this year. Will be interesting to see what happens to the share price today.

Some cruises are happening right now even 'Carnival is currently running a limited number of sailings in Europe and Asia, some of which go to sea and come back without stopping in ports.' - FT

UK CRUISES CAN RESUME FROM MAY 17th, MP's told https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/03/09/travel-news-holiday-abroad-covid-restrictions-spain-portugal/ USA surely can't be far behind.

That is the question, is it fair value now or still undervalued? Remember it has already 3 bagged in a year. There will be a pullback, after results maybe?

Greggs, Jet2 and On the Beach have all recovered extremely well and almost back to where they were before the pandemic. Carnival are still over 60% down from where they were. Almost the whole of the UK should be vaccinated by the end of July, and the U.S is also doing well with their vaccinations. These are the 2 main markets where their shares are listed, so the shares should recover very strongly in the coming months.

Yes it has, from 50 quid pre-virus to circa 17.50 today. A long way up from the 2020 lows, but also a long way down from the 2019 highs. Is it fair-value now? We shall see. The market recognises massive pent-up demand from a generally well heeled clientele. Discretionary leisure businesses which survive will become cash-generative again very quickly. CCL is one of the bigger fish. It will either fail spectacularly, or succeed equally spectacularly. No half measures here.

What about the massive debt pile? hasn't that diluted the share price a little?

makes sense this catching up. up to 2019 Has been cash machine this company. It will be again. SAGA has outperformed CCL and that has made little sense as SAGA's performance in recent times has been woeful. Our turn now to pile on the £££s in terms of share price. And unlike SAGA makes complete sense.

US cases down to 33,000 Deaths 500 We are talking 90% drops from the Jan peak here. There are over 8,000 daily deaths in the US from NON Covid diseases on average. People need to maintain perspective here.

US cases down to 40,000. Deaths now steady below 1,000. 2.5 million vaccinated a day now, targeting 3 million a day near term. Note US only using Pfizer and Moderna both with 94-95% efficacy.
