18/12/2022 21:46 | I looked up the next elections in Argentina .... October 2023 such a judgment could have some impact just in time ..... | kaos3
18/12/2022 21:41 | hohum1, I think the point is Argentina could settle the matter and the bad news would be lost in the euphoria. | stentorian
18/12/2022 18:49 | Great result for Argentina. C’mon Judge Preska - for the next week or two, the Argentinians won’t mind if you award a few $bn against them.. | hohum1
18/12/2022 16:34 | The way the football is going (currently 2-0), anytime next week should be good for a Petersen announcement! | lomax99
18/12/2022 16:19 | My mistake looking in the wrong place. | syoun2
16/12/2022 20:19 | Just so long as the employees have a bountiful Xmas... | time_traveller
16/12/2022 20:15 | Can't see any RNS other than the Employee benefit trust purchase 4 percent drop is within or only a little out of normal bear beta range | williamcooper104
16/12/2022 20:10 | It's a pre-programmed purchase, such no need to worry about insider rules, so says nothing re management confidence | williamcooper104
16/12/2022 17:40 | Which RNS? | lomax99
16/12/2022 17:24 | That RNS is an outrage. Should be illegal to dig up the lies from years back. Buying opportunity approaching | syoun2
16/12/2022 17:08 | t_t I'm very confident they expected it to take this long, with or without covid. | tradertrev
16/12/2022 16:23 | $15m paid and c. $236m cash received? | lomax99
16/12/2022 16:01 | Not doubting the financial rationale of the deployment. But I'm sure they never expected it to take this long (even allowing for covid). | time_traveller
16/12/2022 15:45 | Time traveler How much did BUR pay for the claims? And how much have they already received for a fraction of them? | donald pond
16/12/2022 15:27 | Petersen reaching eight years and no legal resolution - that's the failure in my book; South American banana republics - what do ya expect - first world justice - they, and we, could expect better. | time_traveller
16/12/2022 13:28 | Muddy Waters mentioning standards still perhaps sends a shiver. Burford happily buying their own shares for plus £7. Burford Capital Limited ("Burford"), the leading global finance and asset management firm focused on law, today announces that it was notified by the trustee of the Burford Capital Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT") that it has purchased in the open market 109,761 of Burford's ordinary shares of nil par value ("Shares") in accordance with Burford's irrevocable instructions.Paying between 7.00 and 7.13Good confidence. I suspect if Argentina win the World Cup you could get away with anything for a week or two. Shame their successive governments have failed them for so many years. | chester9
16/12/2022 10:55 | Odds Argentina winning the World Cup? Very high. Odds Judge Preska dropping a major ruling on a Sunday? Very low. :) | 375uv
15/12/2022 19:09 | So, Argentina to win the World Cup and YPF decision in our favour gets dropped on the same day? What are the odds! | jockthescot75
15/12/2022 15:47 | Edging closer to top-up time.... | lomax99
15/12/2022 14:29 | Agree with Riverman. Mano market closed last 2 years but now that black log coming through. With inflation and interest rates etc they should be shooting fish. Plus they have that Barclays deal on the Bounce Bank loans which looked very smart. Bur is also a class outfit. Also have pent up cases, I think they’ll do well but takes them longer to complete (but much bigger numbers). | bigbaggy

15/12/2022 13:47 | Interesting also that RBGP have tried to create a [/b] mini Burford [/b] in the shape of Lionfish...but clearly having problems with it, and looks like it might be run down over the next year. They are learning that it is extremely difficult to put forecasts into the market for something where predicting the timing of outcomes is not in your control. | simso |
