What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? SK you stated that you exit stocks where the company has found to lie or commit fraud. Neither of these apply to Burford.

Yes, we have all been asking questions to Burford. But, no response, doesn't mean they are lying.

For the last 18 months I requested they get off AIM and move to ideally a US listing or a FTSE main listing. For 18 months they said the listing was not important. My argument was that AIM was:

1. Smaller market cap companies
2. Restricted buyers of the stock. As some large fund managers have a mandate to only buy from the main listing and US listing
3. Was perceived to be regulatory weak.

So it took me 18 months to get them to agree. And the only reason they have now agreed was because of the short attack.

Hence, by the same token me asking the Napo question does not mean they will respond straight away.

And I honestly believe given all the scrutiny that the SEC will do in order to get a main listing (particularly after the MW report, which was lies), if they grant a US listing it will mean that thorough independent checks on the accounting have been done.

Hence, be patient and by end of Q1 2020 we should now if they are getting a US listing or not. Confirmation of the US listing will mean no fraud.

Agreed johnwig. Make everyone provide a credit card linked to a postcode and only one live username per person. Who would possibly argue against that unless they have an agenda?
