Right again. Some can't even do proper research into my posting history.

Adnan - and most of those REITs (or rather all) trade as 0.2 to around 0.6 of book value The red book is far from perfect but it's at least an industry wide and well understood methodology Anyway - I believe the likely value of Peterson - as at the last balance sheet date - and just cannot believe it has the same fair value today

SweetK joined ADVFN this year. Only posts on Burford and doesn’t have any position in Burford! She’s a really big hitter!! Pathetic really.

The real issue SW is that I have an average below £6.50 and its knocking on £8. All the nonsense in between is just that... nonsense... back to work....

Wow,

All the posters attacking other posters to deflect from the very real issues or making pointless posts on the share price - we can all see the share price graph guys, it is at the top of the page or even more pointless predictions.

Filtering out all the pointless posts and looking at only those that provide information, analysis or coherently argued opinion on the company paints a very clear picture, that longs are desperate to suppress through drowning out with pointlessness. For those who can't handle that inconvenient truth, how about just filtering me and others who provide similar information, analysis and coherently expressed opinion, without posting to say you have? Bet ya can't.

1oughton, I actually prefer 1corrado’s posts to SweetK’s posts. He isn’t lying for a start. Whereas SweetK would have us all believe that she has given up her day to day life to sit on a board posting non-stop negative agenda drivel whilst having no financial interest. What utter tosh!

Isn't there a Burfords technical board - where you can publish all your share price targets and tea leaf patterns

@sbb1x - people are entitled to be negative about a stock - you can't have everyone wanting to buy or there is no market to be made! Why should I have a go about anyone who is bullish or bearish? I welcome the discussion.

I'm just asking posters who put up constant posts of "800p later", "price target 850", "going to close over £10" etc to simply NOT BOTHER POSTING as its a waste of a read. Also those who repeat themselves over and over.. now that might not be you but its a shout out to all the ones who do it - and you all know who you are.

Its such a waste of time and ruins these boards.

All this attention on cash accounting is getting boring/tiring.

Name me one other company that fully cash accounts only. Even Tesco doesn't cash account. You would think selling milk/bread would be entail cash accounting only.

But as we all know Tesco estimates its rebates on goods at the beginning of the year. Hence, its revenue/profits can change as its estimates change.

Why is one company being picked on for accounting in a similar fashion to banks/insurance companies/property companies/tech companies/ even bloody supermarkets. Doesn't make sense.

Mountain out of a very tiny molehill.

1corrado, sbb1x etc - just STOP with the pointless posting of price targets - you are just pulling numbers out of thin air... just take a step back from the board... just let the price do what it needs to without your constant stupid posts about predictions. We are a bunch of strangers - who are you trying to impress?

Do us all a favour and stop taking up valuable reading time.

Cheers sweet...a good read...I bought because of the quality of their employees and took my profits when I read this.....The company has gone through five chief financial officers in the last six years and has finally landed on Elizabeth O’Connell, the founder and chief financial officer’s wife which, according to Muddy Waters, begs the question: “Is Elizabeth O’Connell the only CFO who can be relied upon to approve the accounts?” Plus the Operating Cash Flow makes for uncomfortable reading.Best of luck to everyone.

Henchard,

I agree BUR are very into tokenism and there is a big gulf between what it should do and what it most probably will do. That is the problem that will keep the share price going sideways.

Ghh,

That was the MW report - that is never going to be balanced is it!

Read the report at the link I provided in the post where I made the comment that it was balanced and then please feel free to post your views on the issues raised, in particular the IMF Vs BUR accounts comparison.

To help here is the link yet again:
