12/8/2019 20:59 | Interesting article in Telegraph Twitter and high-tech trading: does Burford have a case in its claims against Muddy Waters? https://www.telegrap | ![]() williamcooper104
12/8/2019 20:49 | btw, been a subscriber share price for one year plus. Only share I ever followed was short QPP, as it was obvious. As for 2nd in command (Sommerv), was long for a while TCM, closed now. Good read, but many of his (TW) shorts not covered by the likes of IG. Would be interesting if BUR took to main, would be crucified I reckon. BTW:- no offence intended, if I got facts wrong, so be it. Will continue to follow. | ![]() dudishes

12/8/2019 20:34 | Bawhahahahahahaha!! It was free to read ShareProphets back then, but some were too stupid to do that. Nerdofsteel 30 Aug '14 - 14:22 - 90 of 293 0 0 0 All the Directors, Fidelity, M&G etc etc must all be Long and Wrong too then The Company is profitable, generates cash, has high margins and is still growing, with a valuation that is a tenth of its peers Sure, there are red flags with Quindell, but they are fast disappearing and I still don't get why people who were long, or even ramping (Brahms), are now bashing. 12/8/2019 20:31 | Dudishes 10082 Not sure what was rich about my post, I was pointing out that you were mistaken about the etymology of SK's name. He told us how he came to pick that name only this week. HTH | ![]() bbmsionlypostafter
12/8/2019 20:23 | "SK, do shut up." As Daniel Yu rightly says: "Activist short selling is nothing more than the marriage of short selling and free speech." Whilst I have not shorted a share for over a decade I will still do the free speech bit. As Karolina's boyfriend found out to his cost, trying to deny me that is a BIG mistake - the very first time I contacted his Nomad with concerns over how he was deliberately misleading investors, he came back with veiled threats of legal action. I have assisted in getting him booted off the board of one AIM company and getting another company thrown off AIM when he would not resign. I also got his auditor fined and severely reprimanded for signing off on the fictitious annual report Tim prepared. Well I did promise a terminally ill colleague that I would do all I could to prevent Tim from ripping off PIs ever again and I am a man of my word. BUR would never dare sue MW for Libel - fact. | ![]() sweet karolina2
12/8/2019 20:02 | Nerd, Anyone who plays the AIM casino and does not have a subscription (£6 per month) to share price is a fool. Not saying it is always right but if share price points out concerns with a share why take the risk of it being wrong? If you had sold BUR back in May when Nigel Somerville did his piece, how much better off would you be now. There are not many buy tips on there, but make sure you DYOR thoroughly on any that there are. I have bought some of the ideas I got from there, and all are currently in profit, but that has not always been the case. | ![]() sweet karolina2
12/8/2019 19:59 | SK, do shut up. As I understand it MW only have about $150m of assets but I am sure BUR will look at all avenues open to them and plead all of them: when you sue in the U.K. court you can sue for everything: negligent misstatement, fraudulent misstatement, deceit, negligence, malicious falsehood, libel. BUR doesn't need to choose which. Are you entirely ignorant of the legal system? The key issues will be showing that the case should be heard in the U.K. and how to measure damages. Libel may be more difficult than some of the alternatives. | ![]() mad foetus
12/8/2019 19:52 | There are 2 compelling reasons why BUR would never dare sue MW for libel: 1. The discovery process would give MW access to all the accounting data. 2. BUR would lose. | ![]() sweet karolina2
12/8/2019 19:50 | BBM re 10080, No she is alive and well and no doubt still very sweet (only born in 83) even after Tim put her on the board of 1 of his bankrupt companies: | ![]() sweet karolina2

12/8/2019 19:24 | I think you will find they will sue. It doesn't become common knowledge in 2 weeks. | ![]() hawkind
