Clearly market nervous ahead of MW reply.

Gotham clearly had no silver bullet. Does MW? They say people have come forward since their take down but will there be anything meaningful?

eg an ex cfo or other senior former employee claiming something proving BoD have been misleading investors.

Without this MW look on the back foot?

Perhaps ADVFN might be interested to know that if there were to be an action for defamation then it could also be against themselves as the publishers of those comments.

FCA said they became aware of some bad manipulation happening as early as last Tuesday. Yet have done nothing to halt trading until any clarification.
They have done nothing to at least ban shorts on Burford. Suspending shorts is a standard practice in many parts of the world incl USA, Australia, Sweden, Russia and more.
Can those of us who lost money on BUR now sue FCA or LSE for not protecting the market?

(What I said above does NOT in any way relieve Burford of their own responsibility to be honest, and does NOT relieve MW from responsibility for their actions.

Separate off as much of the fatty layer as possible and add back to the roasting tin. Add boiling water to release the aqueous meat essences from the sides of the tin. Add a little salt and pepper and concentrate over a low heat until the required gravy thickness is achieved.

Brexit,

I made it very clear that where I have my own money on the line I do take well expressed logical opinions into account. I have no money on the line here.

However, I have had many discussions with william and others on here whose views differ from mine and we have ended up in fairly good agreement on a number of points. I have certainly learned some useful things over the past few days.
