IT WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO THE WIDER MARKET.

Price sensitive info MUST BE RNS'd so there is a level playing field.
I bet over 70% didn't listen to it I know this as fact as I WAS PROVIDING COMMENTARY ON IT.

"Burford is informed that posting certain phrases, such as "insolvent", on Twitter can induce an algorithmic sell off in a stock, and that a wider analysis of short seller tweets in general shows that references to "liquidity risks" and "insolvent," which appeared in Muddy Waters' tweet at 08:56, lead to sharp price declines. Statistically speaking, these terms jointly increase the odds of an artificial price decline in a manner that is highly unlikely to have been caused by random chance."

Are they saying this to get the price down to buy more at a lower price?

If I had a financial interest in an analysts call I'd have it on speakerphone with people ready to act on what was said. The minute something is said in an open call it becomes known news. Clearly Chimers is far too thick to realise that.

The conference call was only available to a very small amount of investors and the information given was price sensitive and very very helpful to anyone receiving it ahead of the rest of the market.

IT IS AGAINST THAT LAW AND FOR VERY GOOD REASON.

Makes you wonder how many other companies and their directors give inside info to Analysts during conference calls that most of the time we are not privvy to.

THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DO THIS REMEMBER.

"BUR had to BY LAW RNS their director share buying BEFORE they had any conference call.

Not to do so is Criminal price manipulation"

Rubbish.

All information has to be delivered into what is deemed 'The Public Domain'. RNS is just conduit to meet that requirement. I would suspect the conference call would also meet that requirement.

Jonathan Molot has just bought nearly £3M of shares. Should have waited until today, he'd have got them cheaper.

From the RNS this morning it seems that Burford are singularly focussed on Muddy Waters - they've retained three legal firms for this.

But they haven't announced anything about:

- a governance review,
- an accounting review,
- a share buy back program, and
- PDMR buys other than by Molot and Bogart.
