Two of Burford's non-executive directors have also sought clearance to make market purchases, as have numerous other Burford employees. In addition, the Board is also considering the Company buying back its own shares, given the potential investment return the shares represent at their current price. Appropriate disclosure will be issued upon the completion of any purchases.

bgt1, the ShareProphets's site say the legal owner is Investor Research Laboratory Limited Inc.

A quick Google will set you on the trail.

FFS - The Directors’ intended share purchase was the subject of an RNS before they purchased - Please apologise!

THE FACTS ARE THAT PRICE SENSITIVE INFO LIKE A DIRECTOR BUYING MUST BE RNS'd BEFORE THEY CAN DISCUSS IT WITH 1 SINGLE OTHER PERSON.

THAT'S THE RULES THATS THE LAW I HAVE OFFICIALLY REPORTED THEM TO AIM REGULATION THIS MORNING.
ENJOY.

bluster - pinning it to individuals won't be difficult. The exchange will know exactly who posted and cancelled the orders involved. Should take two minutes.

Chimers, keeping posting the same rubbish doesn’t make you right.

The facts, ie the RNSs, show you are wrong in spades.

Please apologise.

It's going to blow today's top. The weekends out the way, the volatility will now subside and MW have been zipped up and thrown in the muddy waters.

The data presents and open and shut case of manipulation.

Pinning it to individual(s) is the difficult part. I hope some are bricking it all the same.

I suppose swimming in Greece might aid a plausible deniability plea.

"No need to rush and pre-empt anything MW might come out with. Get all the available evidence. Rushing you make mistakes. And we wouldn’t want that, would we?"

Yes and what BUR have done is a massive mistake.

Was reading somewhere at the weekend that the sole director of Shareprophets is actually a lecturer at Keele University? She's a DR or something like that. What's even stranger is that the business is registered in Wrexham with the controlling parties having Gibraltar addresses. Always assumed that it was TW's business?"Seems like some dodgy set up to me, tax avoidance etc.

Just to share my tuppence worth. Burford up until the Muddy Waters slander was one of the largest market caps on AIM with very impressive year on year profits and capacity for growth. Fundamentally none of that has changed. Having done their due diligence there is not a broker as yet valued this company at less than £20 per share. The dust will settle, it will find a price range dictated by earnings and sentiment, but does anyone truly believe it will be at these levels? I don't feel we will be down here for long.

I'm comfortable on the Fair Value NAV of £6 something However - just because the Peterson claim was marked correctly doesn't mean that it couldn't crash in value So would be more concerned if there's negative news on it - and recent political moves don't look great - but I don't understand anything like enough about them Would appreciate other posters thoughts on this
