I agree, with the Oil Tanker attack this PM (hope the crew are all ok) and general pointers pivoting north the share price might have bottomed out and is now headed towards the high £4's. All we need is for Murray to see the light and we are off to the races....

They seem to be doing nicely today so far. Oil $81 a barrel of Brent. It would be nice to finish over 10 points up, but it's unlikely!

Big downer on oilers just now - virtually all big oil down a fair bit from recent highs - BP more than most admittedly
It’s cyclic and as sure as eggs are eggs they will be back at 500 and much more sometime in near future when the powers that be want the prices high again

They still seem to be floundering. Oil at nearly $80 a barrel. Just saying!

I see BP have now got the requisite female in position as demanded by the rules of wokery. Be interesting to see how they react over the pond come 2.30.
Right now which is the next box to be ticked. Winston - where are ya? Belinda (was Billy) ?

Can you remember those wonderful Bob Dudley days. Have we got a lot of oil and gas drilling going at the moment. I do hope so, or we'll be left behind.

Am I the only one who thinks that the next heap of manure news wise coming out of somewhere in the middle east, and there will be one along before long, will cause another spike in the share price.

I thought they had paid a lot of their debt down. They have certainly cut their dividend payments down with the amount of buybacks currently running at about 26/27 million a week. Oil is quite stable between 70 and 80 a barrel.

Just brought a few this morning at 443, hopefully for a quick profit. Still have my main holding. Should hit my target of 493 within the next 2 to 3 months, maybe?
