25/9/2014 22:09 | This is not the litigation, it's increased speculation that Russia will asset grab in retaliation to sanctions. | essentialinvestor
25/9/2014 22:03 | No. Bounce tomorrow when the punters realise this is just another litigation step. BP likely win on appeal (as they did the last Barbier ruling on the 'fairness of the interpretation of the agreement'). | prambigear
25/9/2014 18:27 | so what we saying 420 coming ...? | neilyb675
25/9/2014 15:57 | #84749 Bracke. It doesn't matter that they were exaggerated (and therefore fraudulent). Judge Barbier and the 'good ole boys in the bayou' have screwed BP at every opportunity. Judge Barbier found that BP HAD to accept the claims as interpreted by the crooked lawyers. On appeal to a higher court I believe BP got this overturned, but that ruling only related to the 'formula', therefore from the date of the ruling. So, as I understand it, BP had to go back to Barbier's court and effectively say "the higher court found your decision wrong, now let us get overpayments back from before their ruling". He has said 'No'. BP will now have to appeal that to a higher court. | prambigear
25/9/2014 15:49 | Whats so scary? BP got deals worth 20-30 years with countries... how many busniesses can say that? | hellscream
25/9/2014 15:40 | Scary times for bp be aware the russias reaction to west senctions | robrah
25/9/2014 15:38 | Are the overpaid claims fraudulent or does that not matter? | bracke
25/9/2014 15:27 | Well as a holder/sufferer, I don't find them in the least appealing! | skinny
25/9/2014 15:11 | Barbier ruling that BP cannot reclaim 'overpaid' claims (BP are appealing) | prambigear

23/9/2014 23:50 | From the heady 526 to the current price is quite a drop in such a small space of time (unless you draw parallels to tesco of course). It is also september and the ftse is heady imo.. | supermarky
23/9/2014 23:46 | As I don't want to get my head bitten off by suggesting a target share price can I ask whether you are all positive or negative bp share price over the next few months. Big Question. | supermarky
23/9/2014 16:32 | Good day Penycae TSCO may well be "just a drop in the ocean' to members of the Welsh Ruling Classes but to the hard up, unwanted, unloved English it may be the eqivalent of the English Channel. | bracke
23/9/2014 14:30 | Thanks Peny. I enjoy your postings. Am feeling sorry for myself today over Tate. All the best to you and Monkey | ladywormer |
