Big obstacle is the Daily SMA 200 currently at 489. Looking at the chart shows it has been a strong s/r zone. It needs to break AND HOLD above this zone.

"many would
rule out IMT on ethical grounds."

you could say the same about so many shares/companies. No room for ethics in investing I am afraid.

It's not a sector I know well 2NGH, so my view won't mean much,
under 470 looks more interesting.

If it's primarily as in income play, IMT and CNA are more interesting imv,
although I would not touch CNA before Thursday's results and many would
rule out IMT on ethical grounds.

Targeting BP would not make much sense to me, but who knows.
From memory they are the biggest single foreign investor,
it imv would be highly damaging to confidence.

May have a few if the slide continues.

Bp's current interest in Russia is $20bn?

2NGH,
Umlikely to be more than $20bn.

Will Russia seize Bp's assets?

Has anyone worked out the value hit if they do?

The increasingly more servers sanctions against Russia from all angles will see them retaliate with sanction of there own.

Patience is a virtue. I thought 500+ wouldn't stick especially given geo political issues.
