Massive fall straight down for such a big boy. I suspect there will be some bounce. I can see why people would move in at this level

Neily, are any of your targets ever met?, because any time I read one
of your posts it's estimating a share price significantly below current levels
and then when the share price goes in the opposite direction you appear to
disappear.

mark, I'm completely in cash, but have to admit I nearly bought BP yesterday,
thank .... I held off, the market was overdue a correction.

On BG you are right on the asset attraction, to me it's still looked overpriced
for a long time, just imv.

Yep long term this is a reasonable entry price imo but I don't think this is the bottom of this particular leg down. Keeping out at the moment.

Mark I thought this was beginning to look great value, but the oil price is
selling off hard.

What's the raison d'etre of this company? To find oil or invest in itself?

Morning all. The Monkey is looking to get long here, but the planets have not quite lined up yet.
Going for three picks that you can buy, hold, and not be afraid to walk away from for a few days at least.
BP.
ARM.
OML.
Forex wise, GBP/EURO will be the next big play (on the dark side).
Got to wait for all these trades to come to you. Time's not right just yet.
Trade well and prosper Earthlings......

I am still waiting. 440 looks reasonable to me but I'm in no great hurry. Let's see how it plays out over the next few weeks

Mark Russian news, talk of potential capital controls, not sure that
would impact BP but adds to the current negative mood music.

I'm starting to get tempted here.

The share price attempted to break up above the Weekly SMA 200 but it was having none of it. A good up day on the DOW may assist.

Pram

Even if BP win the appeal at the higher court I imagine getting cash back will be very difficult.

Now to the share price 440 is a fair probability. This week the share price broke below the Weekly SMA 200 which is at 458. It did the same during week commencing 01 September but pulled back up before the end of the week. 458 also coincides with the rising trendline.

Watch for a test of both indicators
