Interesting that they are having a GM between Christmas and New Year. Might that indicate a degree of urgency for some reason?

One of the resolutions changes the Articles to reduce limits on borrowing. Surely it’s not possible that they are currently in breach of their Articles???

I don't hold a position in Barkby but follow the company out of interest. It seems they have gone in 6 months from actively acquiring more pubs to now wanting to sell the lot! Unfortunately, what was described as a 'solid and robust business' back in the Interims in March is now loss making, so good luck getting a decent price for them.

It's obviously a zombie company set up to serve the board of directors salaries only. It should carry a wealth warning to investors to avoid at all cost unless you are a charity supporting the directors salaries. I always thought shareholders owned the company but alas they obviously don't!
