£10.7m gross development value.. when they talked about it in the admission document they talked about £2.2m operating profit on £10.3m gross development value

how much of that extra £0.4m value is profit for them?

could be as much as £2.6m in profit from this deal then... in any case its a cracker, not many companies can snap up 4% of their market cap in profit in one riskfree bite

think the article sums up the story quite well, tho it doesn't spend that much time discussing the best bit of Barkby, the property development business which is the real jewel in the crown

that business alone can easily justify the current market cap growing as quickly as it is and the rest is delicious icing on the cake

How many share splits have there been since it was suspended?

Is it just the 74 for 193? I thought there was one prior?

Well, that's been a nice surprise and all after SMA was suspended, way back in 21-7-2017. I'd thought at the time that such would mean I'd never see a penny back.

Currently the new AIM shares (74 for 193) are showing on L2 @ 40p v 41p and there's been a good hunger for this stock since the start of trading today.

Thanks F M I have just done that and am awaiting there reply Great movement today but still along way to go to cover my investment of £30k in the old SMAI had forgotten about them to be honest A very nice surprise yesterday reading MOS article hopefully this is the start of a great year

georgia.. Contact your broker and give him some stick and they have not done their job. There was a share consolidation when SMA changed to Barkby and moved to NEX....and a further consolidation when Barkby moved to AIM.

I'd forgotten about these shares I had until I read the Mail today ??I've just checked with IG who hold my shares, but they still show as SMA How do I check how many shares I have in Barkby Gp ??Any advice would be great
