Sky News Breaking

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is due to announce tomorrow a £16.5bn increase in defence spending over the next four years in what is being billed as the biggest programme of investment in Britain's armed forces since the end of the Cold War

Owenski, maybe this news leaking to some earlier, explains the high volumes?

I always find 'Blue posters' aren't always as savvy as the rest. Hence they waste money on premium accounts yet seem to be inept.

another bellend to add to the filter list.

Don't disturb him, he's on the phone to his spread bet provider, desperately explaining he meant to short British Airways, not BAE Systems and can he have his money back please?

Advice to potential shorters:

Realise that BA in BAE Systems doesn't actually stand for 'British Airways', perhaps BEFORE placing your £50 punt in the wrong direction!?

'no-one is going on planes hardly at all & hardly anyone has been going away compared to before'

A lot of stocks are undervalued. I actualy sold everything now except BAE and 2 pharmas with the hope of a pullback to buy back as this has been one hell of a move inside a week or so for many stocks

UK ‘needs more than 48 F-35s’ to sustain carrier operations

In a report published today, the Public Accounts Committee commends the Ministry of Defence for delivering two aircraft carriers that form the bases for Carrier Strike but says this success risks being undermined by failure to provide the capabilities essential for the carriers to do their job.
