retail sales up, money supply figures strong too..............great for growth.......inflation in check.........

not sure why Axon is giving up a little ground today..........it's not like there was any rise following the Fed announcement................840 has proven to be stubborn resistance this year so it should prove to be stubborn support now........especially on this low volume............in for another 15ppp.......

morning all.............yep interesting times ahead there sm.............especially now the central banks are doing things to sort out this mess.............

some trading this morning.............enough to lift up WINS off 865............nice.............

some news out from SAP..............looking to double the number of SAP customers............and I think an interesting way of getting businesses hooked on SAP.............get them whilst they're small so when they grow they stick with the product and the more expensive licenses/support..............well that's my take on things anyhow.............lol...........

Sap Ag SAP expects new software to add 1 bln eur to annual revenue from 2010 - CEO


FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - SAP AG expects its new software 'Business
ByDesign' to generate annual sales of 1 bln eur from 2010 onwards, chief
executive Henning Kagermann told Die Welt.
The company will invest 300-400 mln eur in the product's startup by the end
of 2008, the newspaper cited Kagermann as saying in an interview.
For SAP as a whole, he expects the number of customers to soar to 100,000 by
the end of 2010, from 42,000 now, the newspaper said.
The company yesterday presented its new software, which targets companies
with 100-500 employees. SAP sees a worldwide market potential of more than 15
bln usd in that segment, the company said in a statement at the time.

Could have been a mistake selling today thinking the markets were on a one day rally
Calls of 1600 for the s&p
Shot of adrenaline to the markets the fed cut as its been quoted
Fed target of 4% in some quarters
Plenty of cash on the sidelines now being put to work
This rally is a chance for those that missed the last one to get in according to commentators

there's the holdback sm...........68k at 855............well worked I say................hats off to the mms............glad to have helped clear him out with my purchases earlier............and you must be too sm............positive day tomorrow now imo............

US still well up, UK closed up 3% and with Axon down 1p and QXL down 2p I only have those 2 has down on my monitor...........blue for everything else.............

U.S. Stocks Extend Biggest Rally in Four Years; Builders Gain

Sept. 19 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks extended their biggest rally in four years following gains in Europe and Asia, buoyed by speculation Federal Reserve interest-rate cuts will help contain the housing slump and spur profit growth.

D.R. Horton Inc. and Pulte Homes Inc. led homebuilders to a fifth day of gains, the longest streak since 2005. Countrywide Financial Co., the biggest U.S. mortgage provider, climbed to the highest in a month. Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc., the world's second-largest copper producer, advanced to a record.

The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 14.91, or 1 percent, to 1,534.69 at 10:55 a.m. in New York. The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 94.94, or 0.7 percent, to 13,834.33. The Nasdaq Composite Index added 20.9, or 0.8 percent, to 2,672.56.

The Fed yesterday reduced its benchmark lending rate by half a percentage point to 4.75 percent, more than most economists surveyed by Bloomberg predicted. Policy makers also pledged to ``act as needed'' to prevent mortgage defaults from weakening the broader economy.

``This is a shot of adrenaline,'' said Scott Black, who manages $1.8 billion as president of Delphi Management Inc. in Boston. ``With foreclosures going up and the bad tailspin in the housing market, it was going to pinch the consumer as we head toward the Thanksgiving and Christmas season.''

Stocks also gained after the government said consumer prices in the U.S. unexpectedly fell in August for the first time this year.

morning all.......morning sm.........was in the pub when the news broke, I'm afraid I drank the bottle I got for you...........the keyboard is making far too much noise...........feel like sh*t at the mo.............

great news..........the markets are definately enjoying the move...........a quick spike there for the share price here and a couple of sells coming through.........well a bit short term that imo.........the rate cut will encourage growth.........and in particular US growth.......

I'll be topping up on this dip................seems you'll be too............
