Countrywide in the US secures more funding..........think this is the reason for the latest legup...........

``The overall picture is good,'' said Jerry Jordan, who helps oversee $500 million as a portfolio manager at Hellman Jordan Management Co. in Boston. ``It shows the foundation this market has to eventually move higher.''

Countrywide rose the most in the S&P 500, gaining $1.03, or 6.2 percent, to $17.65. Countrywide said it has $12 billion in financing through new and existing credit lines. This ``should substantially address funding concerns'' at Countrywide, Credit Suisse analyst Moshe Orenbuch wrote in a research note.

quiet strange, large upside day today but my monitor is a mixture of red and blue...........it seems that it's a large cap day as the 100, DOW are up 1%, yet the 250 is down about 0.5% and the small cap 0.1%.............

going into the last 15, Axon still strong.............

32.8k v 27.7k total buys to sells on the book.........with 3,570 v 62 on the strip..........

end of day push???????????

31.9k v 25.9k total buys to sells.........about 550 shares between 836.5 and 840 where the mms sit..............

I can see 840 possibly being taken out today with this buying and the US on the up...............chance of breakout??????????

so an additional corporate broker............not sure what that means.........as long as they buy lots of stock I'm sure we'll be very happy............

my my arn't the US being good people today...............nearly 100 points up..........

Sept. 13 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks rose on lower-than- forecast jobless claims and speculation that a plan to cut retiree health-care costs will boost profits at automakers.

General Motors Corp. rallied the most since February after Citi Investment Research said the biggest U.S. automaker's shares may almost double should the United Auto Workers agree to back a union-managed health-care fund. Target Corp., the second-largest U.S. discount chain, advanced after saying it may sell its credit-card receivables and increase buybacks.

some already would have from the end of June scottie imo........as I remember things were a bit eratic then as funds would have been swapping stock from small cap to 250/350......wel I think that's what we thought anyhow.....could be a load of old tosh........but they would have had to do it at some point........

US futures are on the rise................

could be a big volume day..............notice how the share price has risen on high volume and dropped on lower volume...............great sign that...............

morning all.............morning Screamer..........like the result was in any doubt, they've made it harder than they need to to qualify else no one would have had any interest in the games............must be the easiest group to qualify from ........... lose a few then win the rest...........amazing how much more revenue can be earnt..........same happened with the cricket.........we should have wrapped that up in the 5 game..........but then who would got the rest of thegames and buy all the merchandise and who would buy advertising slots on sky then?????

anyhow spritly start to the day.........contining the battle around 830-835.........and yesterday afternoon's decent buy orders being placed......PMUR has been nibbled away at 835 and only has 31 left to shift.........ARDA for some reason has moved down to 833, but only has 750 to shift..........not normally a player that one...........
