The 144 dma is a target (I happen to like the Fib averages, but the 150 would serve as well)... however a break of a declining average is thought not to be very reliable... I expect some backing and filling till the various avs have sorted themselves out and are all turning upward

81p??? Really? Why so high? Did you use the Krobonicov equation to derive that?

I dont. OK techfolks where would the price have to go to for us to start jumping up and down and shouting 'chart breakout'. To my untutored eyes the low 70's is the target?

Wow $408. Cracking stuff...

That shakeout on Tuesday should remind us all that although gold is a great bet, it is a relatively small market and I suspect it is prone to short term manipulation and occasional skullduggery.

Anyway, just hang tough for a few years and we should all do very well.

JJ.

Mieke, Bis is away on Hols, how the other half live so I will post for him.

The end of the world is nigh Gold is going to $2 if you are lucky, AVM is dog with fleas and a short, their results will be dreadful, I did warn you!

Was that convincing enough for Bis?

See you are all missing him already!

Looks like its going to cruise through the 65p barrier the techfolk were concerned about. Perhaps now looking at 75p+ by results? POG very very encouraging, Bis your comments please?

biswell, where are youuuuu ?

I havn't looked for the post where you said that you would be worried if USD dropped below 88 but I'm sure you won't deny saying it. The dollar index is currently below that number (it may rally, it may not) so show yourself and tell us whether you ARE now worried.

Thanks. Trying to learn how the world really works is just as important to making sound investment decisions as fundamental analysis of shares like AVM. Richgit's recent 911 link was also helpful.

Here's another - a 2hour + online video. Well worth a look for those who don't mind their belief system being shaken!

yalza yalza yalza, POG up $10 and so far showing no pause for breath. Bis your comments on this matter are most urgently sought!
Yes not many traders as yet, still think we will be over 70p by the 21st though, particularly if POG continues this way. Doesnt seem to be much holding the US$ up at the minute (and nothing on the near term horizon to help it either) so things look set fair..........

Early days but so far we seem to have very few traders on board for the results which should be viewed as a good thing. It should mitigate the mandatory post-results dip, might even get a lift!

Cue Biswell.....(enter stage left).
