I thought the same Dex, Onlywho alluded to that recently saying he/she felt sorry for people who had bought higher up. I too worry that Stroll keeps on diluting, but that means he is diluting himself, Toto, Vettel etc. at the same time. Would Stroll really do that to people he needs to be successful? He won't last long if so. I think he has done what he has done out of necessity. They had no way of paying back debt in the next 2 years. I think it's fair to say AML is a risky play, probably treading water for the next 12 months or so. They are banking on the sale of almost £1bn of bonds to see them through the next 5 years, in which time they have to turn the company around. I can't see why Stroll would use AML to screw everyone around him though. Even if his main aim is his son winning F1 races, how would AML play into this? If anyone is thinking someone I have missed I'd be glad to hear it.

Only who, can you elaborate please? How can Toto make money as an AML holder, but a PI can't?

I bought these at 54p last week on the basis that Mercedes, Laurence Stroll and Toto Wolff probably know better than I do.....

Different this time. The factory will not be closed so production can continue. I've a positive outlook for the weeks ahead.

Yes... the payment term is longer so the cost and debt is larger

Are you saying reducing the coupon from 12% to 10.5% and repayment date due 2024/25 rather than 2022 is not positive?

Yeah Aston, long game for me here. btw, 62p is the price of Merc shares, so it will be interesting to see if it hangs about at 62p as the new average.

@Swiss Tony, this is positive news as the stable rating now paves the way for big boy investors to have a go. Still some way to go, mind. But comparing to where we were 7 months ago, a lot of pieces are falling into place. Patience is a virtue!

"Moody's also views the new strategic cooperation with Mercedes-Benz AG (MBAG, subsidiary of Daimler AG) as positive, because it gives AML access to critical future technologies including electric/electronic (E/E) architecture and a full range of powertrain technology, including electric, mild and full hybrid without its need to develop it in-house and thereby easing development risks and pressure on AML's cash flows over the coming years." So you're wrong on the hybrid stance. Maybe have a read of this before calling everyone idiots (when there are serious errors in your own post). Thanks. Porsche, by that reckoning, Stroll is screwing over Toto Wolff and Vettel. How can he screw PIs and not his friends who are private holders?
