Well, if Stroll says £9 I'm going to sell everything to buy AML shares. What a fantastic opportunity.

.....Whatever that means. I think you know my opinion in any case. Notably to buy and forget for a few years. - i will have you a small bet that i am more right after 5 years than you and your 3p.

Well - it is often common amongst these types to downplay expectations too. Notable that this guy is stretching his neck out....a lot....!

Interesting item on A.M. in the Sunday Times - 8th Nov. Stroll himself forecasts up to £9 within 5 years......Let's hope.....

dex: no, not retired, and I don't spend much time on BBs. Maybe 10-15m a day, looking for unusual or interesting movements. AML is a special case, of course, but that doesn't mean I would have a position.

Strolls a smart guy, because as AML is diluting, he is buying up more shares, which shows how deeply committed he is to this project Said it so many times before, AML is a risky position to take up (there is no reward without risk), but risks are easier to stomach/ manage over time - this is a long play. I too am tempted by the paper money, especially when we briefly hit the 80's. But I think we should expect a lot more from AML, Stroll and a number of significant others surely do! I'm thinking to go even longer than previously planned - 2024/25. I'd like to see out this plan and reap all the rewards along the way - if there are any! :D

Only who? I'm genuinely curious why someone without a position would bother to contribute to a thread ? I mean would literally have the time. I barely have time to contribute to threads where I have a position let alone ones where I don't. I mean, how do you even decide which threads on which to do so ? I'm guessing you are retired !

dex: my breakeven is zero, because I don't have any shares. Speaking as a clueless idiot, two things I've learnt: 1/ Never buy oils or bios 2/ Never buy a share that 'has to be worth that much'.

They'll always be people on the boards ramping higher, they're usually clueless greedy idiots, or need the liquidity to sell into.Trust no one

Yup. Example : bought Tullow Oil nine months ago for 45p. Went straight to 60p. I could have taken a 30% gain. But I didn't. Instead I listened to all the people saying "they were £16 not long ago and will bounce back massively". Now 19p and I'm sitting on a £10k loss....

Been there myself too, then when it next rises, you think, this could be it. Hah.

I've seen far to many paper profits evaporate while I was being greedy wanting more. New strategy (after 30+ years) is to take profit when a decent one presents itself. 75p would see me on a 40% profit. They have been over 70p twice in the past 6 months only to fall back again to 50p.....

Agreed on dilution, Dex. It's fine if the share price holds 50p after every dilution. I also agree on Stroll thinking he can turn it around, I cannot see any ulterior motive for buying AML. But it will take time.... why would you sell at 75p if the turnaround is on?

Only Who? - what is your break even then ? Regarding dilution, I suppose if they are issuing new shares at 50p, and someone only paid around that much, then that is net neutral in that it doesn't really reduce the value of existing shares. If they capital raise at a price well below the price you paid then that is a problem. I can't believe Stroll would have bothered to get involved here unless he was pretty sure he could turn it around.
