01/2/2016 14:54 | Dealer It is the first one to the upside. There is one to the downside at 883 from 24-25 August 2015. | bracke
01/2/2016 14:28 | but that gap at 965p... | dealer1972
01/2/2016 12:19 | The share price is being resisted at 906 - a fib line. Failure to break above this resistance increases the probability of a continued drop to the August low. | bracke
31/1/2016 18:17 | Hopefully they'll get burned tommorow if the UK gets its due bounce from USA strength after UK closed... But 5% short doesnt sound that huge in the grand scheme of things?... Regards, Source. | source

It seems to be a concerted attack . I am 20% committed @ sub 9000. I think I will wait and see with the rest. ( the greed is rising ). The Blackrock RNS seems to fit into the pattern . All thought if my reading of the RNS is correct they seem to be more than hedging their lone. Please dyor. Cheers | 2flatpack
30/1/2016 17:54 | Thanks James, that makes it a little clearer. Cheers | 2flatpack
30/1/2016 11:00 | 2flatpack: The shares listed at B are shares it does not own but has an option to own. Those could be the same shares that have just gone out of category A in which case it would be a deal with a shorter. On the other hand it may have sold some shares and separately bought an option on others. I don't think we can tell. Category C are CFDs with no voting rights. They are described as equivalent economic interest and the percentage of voting shares is just shown to illustrate their interest, not actual control. | james97
30/1/2016 08:55 | Added a few before yesterday's close. Just seen Bracke's 837 :-( Oh well, add a few more then :-) | kilgallp
30/1/2016 00:07 | Would anyone like to enplane the latest RNS to me 7. Threshold(s) that is/are crossed or Voting rights attached to shares holding for reached: vi, vii BlackRock, Inc. has gone below 5% . So Blackrocks holding have fallen below 5%. . . Securities Lending 4,395,959 0.87% . Does this mean they are lending share to the shorter's? . . CFD 2,121,990 Nominal Delta 0.42% 0.42% Total (A+B+C) Number of voting rights Percentage of voting rights 31,498,827 6.25% . Do CFD's Have voting rights? My understanding is they are like spread betting no shares are involved . . If anyone can clarify any or all of the above points it would be very much appreciated. Cheers | 2flatpack
29/1/2016 20:52 | Judging by what is happening in the USA after the UK close it seems this "dead cat bounce" may be quite high! :)Regards,Source. | source

29/1/2016 13:21 | Source I have posted previously that the share price has a fair chance of testing the August low at 837 or close to. As to when. Price action suggests February. It may retrace up a little first. | bracke
29/1/2016 12:21 | Bracke - You think Ashstead will drop further???Seems yesterday's circa 8% was an overkill to me. What level are you targeting this to reach? (& when) please. Regards,Source. | source

29/1/2016 11:14 | Well its seems to have bounced (a little) even without getting a Bracke prediction of it! :) This bit only 2 weeks ago from their results suggests the USA based falls have been way overdone (IMHO):- "With both divisions performing well, strong end markets and our strategy clearly working, we now anticipate a full year result ahead of our previous expectations and the Board looks forward to the medium term with confidence." Regards, Source. | source

29/1/2016 08:41 | In too. Fingers crossed! Their very recent trading update was very positive and should mean the poor competitor and general USA based sentiment should hopefully be proved wrong. Any chart signals if this will be bouncing anytime soon Bracke? :)Regards,Source. | source
