01/3/2016 08:39 | After 30 years in this game, this is just about the most inexplicable move I've ever seen. j | jswjsw
01/3/2016 08:32 | Only gap I see is 805p to the downside, quite a few to the upside, first at 965p | dealer1972
01/3/2016 08:26 | Wow big drops on the results (which on quick scan seemed OK to my untrained eye?). Market seems to seen something it doesn't like at all though. Probably slower growth etc. Well guess we're back onto gap watch - of which there seemed to be a few big ones in the £7.50's. Sure Bracke will fill us all in on what's going on! :)Regards,Source. | source
01/3/2016 08:21 | Crazy...........just the mention of oil and gas and shorters having a field day.Top up time I think!.DD | discodave4
01/3/2016 08:20 | Well, I was waiting for these results before investing and felt that they read really well so I am more than a little confused to see the pretty chunky mark down at the open. I guess the shorters are not going to give up that easily. | salpara111
01/3/2016 08:18 | Markets initial reaction is disappointing. The growth rate is slower but with less bolt on acquisitions available that was always going to happen. Strategy still points to continuing growth. | james97
01/3/2016 07:57 | Nice numbers, although growth has slowed which is to be expected. Let's see how the market reacts.Quick calcs and Q4 eps only has to be up 15% on last years Q4 to achieve year end eps forecast of about 80p. With a PE currently of about 11, this is still undervalued, target 1200 minimum.Interesting to see that capital expenditure for next year could be significantly reduced.Fenners - trouble is debt and capex are adversely hit by weak sterling.DD | discodave4
01/3/2016 07:55 | Called down 2% at the open. | broadwood
01/3/2016 07:53 | Agreed. I was going to sell here this week but I might let this position run up to Brexit and then have a re-think then. March now, another Q before brexit and much can change. So long as US stays strong then this will keep running due to fundamentals, Brexit= out, would be a bonus | 1staxs
01/3/2016 07:43 | Look at those exchange rates: The exchange rates used in respect of the US dollar are: 2016 2015 Average for the three months ended 31 January 1.49 1.55 Average for the nine months ended 31 January 1.53 1.63 At 30 April 1.54 1.69 At 31 January 1.42 1.50 With today's rate at 1.39 there is plenty of room for upside in the £ figures | fenners66
01/3/2016 07:38 | FTSE getting stronger pre-open. Things should move nicely here this morning. | 1staxs
01/3/2016 07:36 | With both divisions performing well, strong end markets and our strategy clearly working, we expect full year results to be in line with our expectations and the Board looks forward to the medium term with confidence. | fenners66
01/3/2016 07:26 | Hopefully, not much for the bears to feed on. | broadwood
01/3/2016 07:20 | This could be a good place to protect your money from Brexit with exchange rates | 1staxs
01/3/2016 07:12 | All looks good here for the near future. | 1staxs
01/3/2016 07:08 | 3Q results Highlights Group rental revenue up 17%1 Nine month pre-tax profit2 of £482m, up 20% at constant exchange rates £932m of capital invested in the business (2015: £783m) Group RoI of 19% (2015: 19%) Net debt to EBITDA leverage1 of 1.9 times (2015: 2.0 times) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ With both divisions performing well, strong end markets and our strategy clearly working, we expect full year results to be in line with our expectations and the Board looks forward to the medium term with confidence.” Good old AHT delivers again! | ianwwwhite
29/2/2016 20:43 | Welcome corliss.Fingers crossed for tomorrow's Q3.DD | discodave4
29/2/2016 17:48 | I bought this today....GLA | corlis
29/2/2016 17:07 | Volume for the day just over 6 Million and share price up. Bulls win todays battle. Interesting to note that China markets fell today but US and Europe not bothered. Perverse!! EDIT I have corrected 5 million to 6 million | bracke
29/2/2016 14:44 | Sync may be broken now | 1staxs
29/2/2016 14:19 | AHT has been out of sync all day with the FTSE by about 2 mins, weathered mild early drop and then later on every FTSE movement in the positive direction AHT has been lagging and over shooting. A few buys in the positive direction ahead of results. Even if results are bad then this is a good time to do it, if the results had been coming in 3 weeks back and the results were bad, US cool down, etc it would be a blood bath here but US is still looking good. | 1staxs
29/2/2016 13:40 | This mornings volume is worth noting. It's quite high but the share price has been in a tight range. It suggests that there is a tussle going on with buyers and sellers. So far honours even. It will be interesting to see what the volume is at the close. | bracke
27/2/2016 10:18 | Blessed is the uppompeii for he shall be rewarded........mayb | bracke
26/2/2016 16:20 | I barely get off mine. | uppompeii
26/2/2016 15:56 | And close above 900. I trust all s/holders will be on their knees giving thanks. Now for that gap!! | bracke |
