08/5/2024 18:05 | As far as I am aware Askar has significant investments in a number of o&g companies. He will be looking for significant upside on his investment. I am pretty encouraged by this. | ![]() mcleani

08/5/2024 17:12 | RNS - 16.8% / 48m shares - I was informed pretty accurately. Let's hope thats the end of the selling for a bit. I think it should be. I estimate hey've made about £240k - not bad eh? | ![]() rockyride
08/5/2024 16:37 | Noted EHL. I wasn’t wondering who used the bad grammar. 😏 If it was Joe’s it would have raised another question so that’s the reason I asked. Buffy | ![]() buffythebuffoon
08/5/2024 16:31 | I’ve held here since 6p but am getting a tad fed up with the share price action and am underwhelmed by the consortium selling so many after taking a position. Smacks of opportunism and if I was MA I would be frankly very upset at the way this has played out. Share price back where we were two years ago! | ![]() fozzie
08/5/2024 15:47 | MTTotally agree, now it is confirmed. Any other way would be irrational. Let us hope for good results. | ![]() eaglehaslanded
08/5/2024 15:29 | RHL - thanks. Entirely logical - suspect it’s what most of us here would have gone for. | ![]() mount teide

08/5/2024 15:07 | Good news!:The current plan is to drill CNB HZ-1, a disposal well, CNB HZ-2, CNB HZ-3, CNB HZ-4 and then move to the Baquiano pad. Hope that helps. Joe | ![]() eaglehaslanded
08/5/2024 13:17 | No different to the options games being played, henece my reluctance to top up. Would've been interesting to forward Malcy's comment re Gavin to the likes of Joe and confirm if the Co is aware of this. How can Malcy access such info, unless he has a copy of the current share register?. At the end of the day the onus is on the shareholder to advise the company of their declaration......if at all notifiable. | ![]() fictitious1
08/5/2024 11:36 | I think you'll find that the 'Gavin consortium' are selling some of their 60m shares. We should see a TR1 when they get to the level that they intend to hold. I've heard that it will be somewhere sub 19%. At 19% they would need to sell 5.5m of their original 60m but I think they will sell a few more than that. I guess it all depends on how many they can feed in >18.5p! | ![]() rockyride
08/5/2024 11:09 | Strange that almost 2 weeks after the 21% changed hands, we still have no official confirmation of the buyer. Regular round number sells indicate that there is a keen seller - however it might just be the case that supply > demand and so the share price drifts. No doubt that once the tide turns it will feel a bit more positive, but 30% down in a few weeks is disappointing. Still have some ISA allowance to use, so will try and catch the turn ... and no doubt get the timing wrong :-) | ![]() dunns_river_falls
08/5/2024 10:53 | Shareprice action has all the hallmarks of being driven down to Canacol's 18.5p sell price for 21% of the company. Frustrating perhaps for long only momentum traders potentially up to 30% down from Marshall's recent UK and European investment community tour high, although most will have sensibly used stop losses to exit long before reaching that paper loss level. For prospective and existing investors - a compelling 'value' opportunity courtesy of Canacol? Certainly likely, if Arrow's CN horizontal well drilling programme now underway generates production results EVEN AT 50% of the level of the leading independents, who spectacularly proved up the concept of horizontal drilling in the Llanos Basin during the last 2 years with results averaging 3+ times the production level of the vertical wells, and Arrow's own reservoir modelling. 08/5/2024 09:13 | It says when it is dome on the HZ pad reads to me that the 3 / 4 HZ wells will be drilled it will move to Baquiano Matteguafa which will now be drilled towards the back end of 24 / Q1/25. There is no way they would yo-yo a rig from HZb after only 1 HZ well and then back after the 2 other exploration wells, especially when he is talking about reducing field risk. | ![]() rockyride
08/5/2024 09:07 | Given how lucrative the CN horizontals are expected to be compared to the Baquiano/Mateguafa wells I can't see how they could justify the moving the rig away from the horizontal pad .... unless there is something they are not telling us | ![]() the_gold_mine
08/5/2024 08:50 | No, I pasted the whole email, but I asked Joe. The response was just a paste of the RNS, so I really don't know. I too feel there is room for interpretation | ![]() eaglehaslanded
08/5/2024 07:15 | Done, or done after HZ1. It’s not possible to know unless it’s clarified. The odds are we drill the horizontals first. Buffy | ![]() buffythebuffoon
07/5/2024 22:56 | 'Once the rig is done on the horizontal pad it will move to the Baquiano' sounds open to interpretation. It could mean drill all 4 CN horizontals and then move or just drill one and move. Was there more to the response that clarifies this please? | ![]() sevenccc
07/5/2024 22:14 | MTI would rather they finished all HZ wells before moving the rig but it seems to prioritize proving up the license rather then faster up production. But this is my take on it. | ![]() eaglehaslanded
07/5/2024 21:38 | EHL - Thanks - In the event of success with the first CN horizontal well and then the first Baquiano well, surely it would make operational and financial sense to drill next two Baquiano wells followed by the first Matteguafa Attic well? And to get a third rig to drill the next three CN horizontal wells? As when considering the production growth potential of the CN Horizontal wells and the year end exit rate, it would be a smart move to make sure that all four CN horizontal wells were drilled and completed well before year end. | ![]() mount teide |
