Since the October 2021 London IPO Arrow Exp has retuned +272%, for a CAGR of 70%. A remarkable performance when considering that the FTSE AIM ENERGY INDEX has returned a loss of 59% over the same period.

To maintain this capital growth rate AXL would need to achieve the following share-price progression:

40p - End December 2024 - Market Cap: $143m

68p - End December 2025 - Market Cap: $239m

Based on the low cost, low risk, production development infill drilling programme for 2024 and expected programme for 2025, a continuation of the 70% CAGR through to the end of 2025 looks achievable, particularly were oil to continue to average the $82.50 of the last three years.

Yes, AXL is now looking more promising than before and IMO will continue to have an increasing share price during the coming months.

This is one of my top stocks.

I'm happy, it could have been a lot worse, roll on next month and the start of HZ wells.

How about this for a nice Q&A:-Q - Do you think Gavin taking the Canacol shares is good for Arrow and how much of a loss will it be re losing their influence in Columbia, especially how they've helped us to get permitting etc done very quickly?A - Anthony and Ravi will stay on our Board, and their Colombian expertise and connections are very valuable to Arrow. I also believe Arrow's relationships with regulatory bodies in Colombia has gotten stronger over the past few years.

Not bad though, buying 60m for 18.5p and sell price this evening 22.5p. A nice £2.4m paper profit.Just hope getting permitting done so smoothly does not take a backward step now we don't have Canacol pulling all their levers for us.Anyway I'm glad that's out of the way. Now back to focusing on fixing the water issues and spudding HZ1.

If you remember, Canacol have been forced to sell due to balance sheet stress

Great news on the new owner. Seems to have history in making good choice investments! Only worry I might have is the loss of interest by Canacol and their expertise in Colombia.

Arrow were keen to get something out and have done it by Malcy:-have been talking a bit about the fact that the 21.2% stake in Arrow held by Canacol was up for sale and I am glad to see that the cross has just printed at 18.5p. Talking around I think that Canacol sold to an institutional investor and associates.Arrow is showing a change in trajectory now that this stake from former founders Canacol Energy is now held I understand by a new group of investors lead by industry veteran and independent energy investor Gavin Wilson.Arrow, a notable performer, had surged since its introduction to London's Aim market in October 2021, experiencing a remarkable 60% increase this year alone. Canacol Energy then revealed its intention to sell assets due to balance sheet pressures, initiating the stake's availability last month impacting the Arrow price. This change of investors is likely a source of satisfaction for Arrow, as the stake had been casting a shadow on the market, causing shares to dip from recent highs. With the stake having been hanging over the market, this clearance today, and to a highly respected investor is clearly good news.Chief Investment Officer Gavin Wilson's extensive experience, coupled with his involvement in other major invested companies such as Afentra, TAG Oil, and PetroTal Corp., further solidifies the credibility of this move. He has built up a reputation for supporting smaller exploration companies and offering expertise in the sector, often taking a board seat, that results in turn-around results for world class energy investments that have latent potential. The placement signals confidence in Arrow's potential.Arrow has been a favoured stock of mine for a while and has been on the Bucket List almost since it came to the London market in 2021. Having fallen from the recent peak and with stability back in the market place I suspect that the shares are now looking very attractive.

Great news if as is now presumed Cannacol are out and it will be very interesting to see who the new owners of those shares are. Dare I say onwards and upwards from here.

Someone got a bargain! Well there's an uptick in Canada today so maybe 50 cents before next RNS?

Sale of one fifth of the stock to an institution/s at an incredible 32% discount to the recent high!

A vivid reminder that equity investment is still far from a level playing field!

Hope it was not Parex - at least, not for 12-18 months.

Why is there not a RNS if Canacol sold? Or is it maybe coming soon? Joe is unaware of the sale.

Shows how irrational markets are. The price actually dips on those trades, whereas anyone with half a knowledge of the company knows a headwind for a past month or two has just been lifted.
