I find it difficult to accept that Malcy would stick his neck out like that without good info so I'm expecting the share price to rise steadily in the expectation of a new holder and perhaps future owner coming aboard.

50k seller has put a dampener on the price rise. Hopefully done soon. Margin must be superb at POO $90. Lets get that production back online and the horizontal drill going! Next 6 months could be company defining.

Fair enough. I guess at the time my gut also told me a temporary drop was imminent as short termists focussed on production and ignored reserves. Timing markets has never been one of my strengths though! Ps. I also wasnt too keen on the inconsistency between MAs presentations and the RNS.

RRYes we might only get to 6000 boed, with that in mind I asked Joe about polymer flood. It enhances recovery and counters decline. If anyone here is familiar with it please comment. Hemisphere energy uses it to great advantage and results:Thanks Joe Regarding polymer flood, can this be used in Axl wells? Is this being considered?

It was clearly going to drop so I sold some and am just buying back cheaper. I did not like the headline production drop due to the water issues but now I understand it all better I am a bit more relaxed. Having said that, I still don't like one story to the cameras and another story in RNS. But now I've raised it, I'm assured by Henry that we will see far more balanced camera performances moving forward and our CEO sticking to the real set of numbers.

Nope, happily watching them make money, waiting for the next RNS. Two old /less productive wells being converted to water injector/disposal wells, production held back to be re-instated, latest drilling results, some guidlines on operations etc. Nothing much to talk about until then.

Not that many oil companies do this, but there is often nickel in these waters than can be harvested and sold.

I can't see the water handling facilities costing much money, the pumped medium is fresh water with some trace crude, from memory the crude is without H2S ("sweet"). Based on my experience in industry that points to carbon steel being the likely material choice for pipework/pumps/valves etc. And carbon steel is cheap as it gets in terms of materials selection.

Its a different story offshore where you are dealing with salty water and you have to start looking at super duplex which is where the cost goes up.

Additionally the size of the pumps is very small, as an example the RCE facilities can handle 10,000 barrels of fluid per day (if memory serves me correctly) which translates to about 67 m3/hr. Again for offshore pumps you are looking at pump sizes of > 1,000m3/hr which are big units, if I was to estimate about a 67m3/hr pump I would estimate each pump fitted into a footprint of <2m by 1m and cost less than £50k, although this could vary up or down depending on specification used and mechanical seal type.

From my estimate of the pump cost (which would be the "big expense" items) you can work out that piping and valves and so on would be much less.

I'm not sure how these small onshore wells work but it wouldn't surprise me if the pumps was on long term rental anyway, but I'd be surprised if the cost of upgrading the produced water systems was worth getting excited about, it would be as much the disruption to operations to get the stuff installed that would cause the annoyance as the expense of buying and installing the parts.
