I will also reiterate my 2023 prediction on the basis that we 'lost' a year in 2023 with Tavsan and Venus. I would certainly be gobsmacked, and possibly suicidal, to see the end of 2024 lower than 2023. I can't see that scenario happening without significant bad news affecting the company's long term viability.
I find myself not as averse to Zimbabwe as I initially was. Progress there and greater political confidence in having such an operation could make a significant difference though I suspect that confidence may take until 2025 or beyond - we need to appeal to a wider market, not just the believers on this board.
There should be progress due to Tavsan and confirmation of extension of production at Kiziltepe though I have some doubts. Generally sharp rises depend on 'surprises' not well telegraphed events. For instance many, including me, thought first pour at Kiziltepe would ignite the share price fuse way back, but it didn't really from memory because everyone knew it would happen. Far more likely to move the price in the short term is a continued good run for gold, at least establishing $2000 as a firm backstop. Reaching, say, $2250 or dare I say $2500 could really make things interesting.

Thank you Thanksamillion for organising the sweep, it adds interest to this board.
I think 2023 was a year when everything got put back by 6 months or more due to the legal claims and the slow results from drilling due to over work in the labs. Therefore I will repeat my very deeply considered guess from 2023 at:
High 8.500 Year end 7.75. I must be somewhere near one of these years.

The hiccup at Tavsan cost us in 2023 IMO but I think it will pick up in 2024. I'll go with high of 7.2 and year end of 6.95.

I'm sure we all agree the company is likely to make decent operational progress this year, and on that basis 4p seems reasonable. But the great unknown is market sentiment. If its as poor as this year, then even 4p will be a struggle. If its as manic as 2010 (as I remember it), then 20p plus would easily be possible. And the honest answer is nobody knows what to expect.

On the basis that the gold price has some traction and there seems to be a definite increase in commentary suggesting small caps are due a spell in the sun, I'll opt for a glory or bust high of 9.9 and year end of 7.7. Thanks Thanksamillion and congrats Zangdook (but hopefully your best days are behind you!)

May I kick-off predictions for 2024 ? I will go for 4.5p high (probably on news of first Tavsan gold) but year-end of 3.2p.

Although that figure is quite low, it is still nearly a 50% return for the year, 10 times what you can get in a building society.

Furthermore, Ariana has not been tipped by anyone in the press for 2024 and I cannot see Tavsan alone attracting enough new investors to raise the share price significantly.

I would love to be proven wrong but that is the way I read it at the moment.

Thanks Thanksamillion. As said it seems we lost a year. 2023 best forgotten. Didn't exist. In reality Tavsan is a year late due to the environmentalist interference. And the IPO slipped due to poor market conditions. So now we can get back in gear and seriously expect some real value to be achieved in 2024 hopefully making up lost time. I wish us all a very successful (healthy and wealthy) new year.

Anything less than 4.5p with Tavsan in production would be extremely disappointing.
Hopefully something from Zimbabwe might stoke it back up towards 6p.
