I suspect the seller is sitting waiting for buys, desperate not to cause a panic of selling for fear of not being able to sell his meagre holding and not realising that if he held on for a few months longer he could sell them for at least double the current price!

Could this be the perfect time to dive into junior mining stocks?

Looking at Newmont and Barricks costs it does make ours look exceptional! Nearly half of theirs, that along with our discovery costs should be something to be proud of. Easy to see why miners not being swept up even with the POG as it is, but different story when it goes through $2,5k People start looking deeper into company's costs, and we should do really well on that basis alone.

2.1 bid price for 3 x 150k, 2.3 ask price for 150k, so range is 2.1 to 2.3 for 150k.

2.4 ask price for 150k
2.5 ask price for 2 x 150k

If you want 350k you get 150k at 2.3, 150k at 2.4 and 50k at 2.5. (In theory - you might get for lower but that is what is quoted)

So why is the range quoted as 2.1-2.3?
thanksamillion

Only 150k at 2.3 Anything more than the 150k is going to cost you 2.4.

So as an estimate, must be around 10%, perhaps more held by ADVFN board contributors. We are a force to be respected.

I know Soulsauce (holding just under 1.3% of AAU)I am overly invested here! More than two directors and just under Proccea. Having bought my first batch, 10,000 at 9.4p each on 21 November 2005 I class myself as a long term holder!

Re Starvest
per Their web page the liquidators should be appointed on Monday 11th December and shares distributed "Very shortly after their appointment" so Zedders (21023) estimate of two weeks sounds very feasible. If they (Starvest) had 58.28m shares in issue and distributing at rate of 0.199 that is 11,597,720 shares to be distributed, of course some additional could be sold to cover costs as they intimate and that may be those currently being "dumped" or possibly the Rowan estate getting in before the divested shares can be sold. Who knows all a guessing game.
