Chartwise we are still well within the downtrend channel. Channel top is currently about 2.75, so still a long way to go to a breakout. Probably need to hit 3.0 , then a confirming retrace and bounce off the trend line for the trend to change to up.The best chance for that to happen is gold to hit 2150 and confirm a major uptrend. Even AAU would have to be pulled along if that happens.

Quite right sharenotes that is why pointing to a 'large seller' at every turn is probably wrong.

There is a myriad of reasons for selling and some of these reasons can be misconstrued by chat boards. I sold a few tens of thousands sterling (can’t recall the exact amount) in AAU shares to temporarily acquire another share which (to me, at least) had a high probability of doubling in price. Fortunately, it did (often does not work out that way, but that’s another story). Whist I was in AAU selling mode, the chat was largely about ‘the seller’ is back. BB had tax reasons; I had a more opportunistic drive. That’s how it is sometimes.

Re Afp biggles I am sure it is in preparation for the wheeling out of Colin by the Sunday Roast guys on their 12 stocks of Christmas in which he will say all the usual stuff in his usual way and then deliver very little but more drilling 🙄

My tip from you soul : AFP is doing ok today it's a leaky share re news so poss good rns in next couple days. Still an absolute minnow even compared to AAU.

Well I think if you're offloading 400 or 500 it implies more to come. By comments in you previous text you suggested it wasn't a large seller. Having said that it will all be mute next year in my opinion when we realise potential of HIZ and poss sale to SSR and use funds for other projects
