22/12/2023 06:44 | I've been steadfast of 30k all along but the wording makes me question that. Probably my special rose tinted glasses. | ![]() lottsgold

21/12/2023 17:47 | xow, thanks for posting that brr link. et alia, it was a short event at brr so ks had to pick what to mention. interesting what he decided to exclude, possibly because those items are some way further out, but he was clearly excited about those he spoke about, especially salinbas and zimbabwe. i continue to think intention at one or both of those is to prove up the resource and exit or part-exit with a sizeable gain. that would certainly bring forward the timing of returns. and although he didn't mention it, the cyprus schematic still had apliki on it, possibly a less than subtle signal they will come back to it? 2024 q2 and first production at tavsan just cant come soon enough for me! | ![]() konil
21/12/2023 16:21 | Confident, relaxed everything on track!Kerim looked relaxed and confident too :-P | ![]() shortarm
21/12/2023 15:29 | Turkey's central bank hikes interest rate to 42.5% The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) announced on Thursday that it is raising the policy rate by 250 basis points, bringing it to 42.5%. | ![]() xow98
21/12/2023 15:13 | very decent interview and kermis is obviously on top of all the projects. For a £25m market cap, there is a lot going on, and I sometimes wonder if that makes it hard to get the message across about where the focus is. | ![]() donald pond

21/12/2023 13:55 | TavsanToday 13:54Kerim in the RNS "We are currently working on revisions to our geological model based on the new data, which will ultimately contribute to a revised Mineral Resource Estimate. This in turn will be used to update production and development plans during Q1 2024, and we remain on track for first gold from Tavsan during Q2 2024." | ![]() plasybryn
21/12/2023 11:45 | Have you not heard of ISA's . Tax free dividends. Or a SIPP in Drawdown. The dividend can help fund ones annual or more regular withdrawal. I always looked forward to the day Ariana pays a regular dividend, and i know lots of others do also. This share has the advantage of significant capital gain and a great yield especially if shares are accumulated at these unrepresentative prices. Bring it on. | ![]() plasybryn

21/12/2023 11:21 | Great news despite the negative comments from naysayers. There is something about a company that has grown itself to the place where AAU is now. You just know it is going to be unstoppable. Well done Ariana. | ![]() charles clore
21/12/2023 11:04 | Dividends from profits indicate that there are some profits to pay dividends from, unlike the "dividend" we were paid earlier. | zangdook
21/12/2023 11:04 | Biggles,There is no evidence for that. Dividends make companies more attractive to income funds but they want liquidity and adherence to PIRC governance rules so won't invest in AAU. To do so they would have to put a "comply or explain" statement in their annual accounts and they won't do that.I hold about 1m shares here. I want it to succeed. But the idea that there are a group of investors looking at small cap miners for dividends is a myth. It is a sector that appeals to gamblers looking to hit the jackpot. | ![]() donald pond
21/12/2023 10:57 | Dividends may not appeal to you but they bring a whole different sector into play which means more people buy which increases shareprice so then you get best of both worlds | ![]() bigglesbingham
21/12/2023 10:56 | See Paul, Donald knows better! Why he is bothered I do not know because the capital gain on zero shares works out the same as the dividend on zero shares! | ![]() shortarm
21/12/2023 10:49 | But why would you prefer dividends to selling a few? CGT is in general less than tax on dividends and surely you would hope that if the company has more funds it could expedite some of the many projects it has. Or to be blunter, paying dividends should reduce the returns for shareholders in a company that is seeking to grow quickly. | ![]() donald pond
21/12/2023 10:43 | These bitter posts make e cringe a little inside! Still at least it's only an avatar on a free BB. | ![]() shortarm
21/12/2023 10:41 | DP, also to fund the lifestyle of the few old gits, like me, who have invested in this share in the hope of regular dividends. | ![]() paul280i
21/12/2023 10:32 | Tbh dividends make no difference. Nobody in their right mind buys a penny share mining stock for dividends. You can buy lots of investments yielding 8%+ at the moment. The point of AAU is capital gain. If it is making profit it should be using that to expand operations. The only reason to pay dividends would be to fund MdVs lifestyle. | ![]() donald pond
21/12/2023 09:59 | Very welcome news. Agree that this is more about expending length of production rather than rate which I would expect to remain at 30k. Given that that production should now be a decade, hopefully more, I would have thought that such assured production will make it more than likely to support a regular dividend. As Sener said, I think, they didn't want to start paying a dividend that they couldn't rely on continuing. That is good news for the share price as it widens the appeal of the share in the market. | ![]() jaynesdad |
