At todays AAu share price a barrow load from Hiz would probably suffice, however time will put that right. Keep taking the regular walks and tablets and you should get to see the prize.

I can understand the ongoing comparisons to Hot Maden due the close nature of the projects, and the excitement that generates. But if this does turn out to be less impressive than HM (who knows), but is still a viable project then that is good enough for me.

As consideration for the 40% ownership interest in Hod Maden, SSR Mining’s payments include: • $120 million upfront cash payment to acquire a 10% interest in the Project paid on closing of the Transaction on May 8, 2023; and $150 million in earn-in structured cash milestone payments to acquire an additional 30% interest in the Project, payable in accordance with an agreed upon schedule beginning at the start of construction and ending on the first anniversary of commercial production. 4 With the upfront cash payment made on closing, SSR Mining now serves as sole project operator responsible for project development, construction and operations. Upon completion of the milestone payments, SSR Mining will own 40% of the Project.

My understanding of it is that it is down to relative topography, elevations, Hizarliyayla is significantly higher than Hot Madan, hence the need to go deeper, deeper drilling requires a better understanding of where to aim for, this gives them this understanding, Geology is a fascinating thing that I'm thoroughly enjoying learning about.

Agree entirely that's their best result so far shortarm.
That's what they need more of. Scale.
So far its lacking other than that one hole.
Disappointed these results didn't find similar

THIS IS WITH GOLD at 1250 dollars per Oz
.

.
Once again, thanks to JBRAVO even though he is a bit of a ramper!

JBRAVO2, thanks for highlighting the excellent scoping study of 2015 at only 1250 dollars per ounce gold!
Last JORC was 2020, since then they have intercepted the longest mineralisation ever (462M).
.
Highlights

Scoping-study based on an approximately 650,000 ounce Indicated and Inferred JORC gold resource, with an average grade of 2.0 g/t Au and 10.2 g/t Ag.
Results show potential for strong financial returns, with NPV (8%) at US$108M, with payback secured within approximately 3.3 years over the Life of Mine ("LoM") at a gold price of US$1,250/oz.
Average LoM production of approximately 50,000 ounces of gold and 100,000 ounces of silver per annum over 10 years.
Capital expenditure estimated at US$53.3 million.
LoM C1 gold equivalent cash-cost of US$768/oz, with a pre-tax IRR of 28%.

@plas
Similar mineralisation with VERY different drill results and therefore levels of the critical minerals
You do realise not all similar mineralisation will have similar levels of Au, Zn, Pb, Ag?

There is a lot to take in with AAU but I guess the point I am trying to make is that we cannot even get Kerim to say that Kiziltepe will be producing gold after 2025 but we know a whole load of high grade ore does not even get delivered to the mine until then!He NEVER exaggerates or over estimates so for him to consider saying the Hot Maden link is there says a lot!

That I'd agree on 100%
Salinbas, Ardala, Hiz has the potential to soak up a lot of resources for not much gold and the focus is wisely being diverted elsewhere.

jbravo2 is correct in requesting more explanation, but I believe the point you are making Shortarm is the correct one, there is so much more to AAU's portfolio.

I've looked a the pictures and read the drilling results for Salinbas and Ardala.
Quite a lot of drill holes completed.
Couldn't quite see where the drill results were anything like those Hot Madan results I posted. Can you help a little more please.

If you are struggling to read the RNS properly - just look at the pictures (and the June RNS also explains).BUT: don't get lost in a tiny tiny part of the whole AAU portfolio!
