29/12/2020 08:44 | Why would they? The deal isn't ratified till government approval . They put in the couple of million dollars as a gesture that they are totally onboard like a deposit. Then once deal ratified and all boxes ticked then presumably they would pay residual money. Why would any company pay $35m over into an account which cannot be used until government ticks a box? It wouldn't make any sense to me. | ![]() bigglesbingham
28/12/2020 18:39 | Ok thanks 😊 | ![]() cool hand kev
28/12/2020 16:46 | The 1.5 million dollar deposit is to be repaid if government approval not received | ![]() paul280i
28/12/2020 16:02 | Yes, that was my original Question. Why inject the funds if approval isn't guaranteed? Not that I'm doubting it. | ![]() cool hand kev
28/12/2020 15:38 | Are we saying we don't think Ariana will get the injection of cash from Ozaltin & Proccea until after the Govt permit, even if shareholders ratify the deal on 30th? | ![]() plasybryn
28/12/2020 13:55 | Depends on gov | ![]() bigglesbingham
28/12/2020 13:02 | waiting on a final permit from govt as i understand it. | ![]() konil
28/12/2020 12:52 | Does share holder approval finalise the JV or do AAU have to wait for some Government approval and if so could this result in another delay and what could the expected time frame be 🤔 | ![]() cool hand kev

27/12/2020 18:15 | Don't disagree another mistake by their investor relations company just like the two rnss one an hour after another! That was actually planned believe it or not cos I asked if it was a mistake they said no. Just a couple of examples when it comes to expressing concerns via letter of investor relations | ![]() bigglesbingham
27/12/2020 16:13 | I would have thought that as this virtual meeting was for shareholders to put questions to the BOD about the forthcoming new JV before voting on the proposal that their questions and answers should have been made public before the cut off date for voting. | ![]() paul280i
27/12/2020 14:47 | Oh well, something else to look forward to. | ![]() paul280i
27/12/2020 14:34 | Kerim in in the outback so don't think any answers will be coming from him. | ![]() bigglesbingham
27/12/2020 12:50 | I'm still waiting for the Investor Meet Company to post the question and answer session from the 16th December on line. Am I being unreasonable in expecting these this year? | ![]() paul280i
26/12/2020 16:02 | Probably not Plasybryn but definitely one or both of the share prices is quite obviously out of kilter. It's quite obvious we remain undervalued for all the reasons we have mentioned many times. Will having a big partner dragging our biggest asset in to some sort of life be the spark that is required for a rerate, let's hope so. It will be nice though to start getting Rns regarding Salinbas. It has been a zombie asset in our portfolio for far too long. | ![]() soulsauce
26/12/2020 11:04 | I'll drink to that CSSF. | ![]() soulsauce
26/12/2020 08:18 | No problem konil. Ultimately wherever each of us plant our flags, we’ll all need a little sprinkle of that mysterious intangible,...luck. I sincerely hope that all of the regular, honest and valuable contributors on here, yourself included, receive their requisite dose! | ![]() crossfirecssf
25/12/2020 09:02 | cheers cssf. have them on my watchlist, will research further. | ![]() konil
25/12/2020 00:08 | Yeah Soulsauce, Kavango could utterly transform any portfolio if the KSZ lives up to managements suspicions. Talk about anticipation! Apologies for veering off topic all... | ![]() crossfirecssf
24/12/2020 20:51 | I'm in Ecr and Kav too CSSF 😉 Kav will be a real game changer IF they hit the pay dirt. | ![]() soulsauce
24/12/2020 20:13 | Fair comment Plasybryn. | ![]() soulsauce
24/12/2020 19:28 | I don't see how they exacerbate the problem. The truth is the truth however it is presented. A missed deadline is a missed deadline. The co. far to often only talks about one project. A Gantt chart helps to keep them all in front of shareholders who at a glance can see how much is going on and expected timescales to completion/value realisation. I see the dropping of the Gantt chart as a cop out. Something making life easier for the Co. not shareholders. | ![]() plasybryn |
