I like the charts as they easily lay out a coherent plan but totally get where you are coming from bigglesbingham. Associated with a timeline they cause frustration.
The chart would look pretty sick for Tavsan lol.

Get that bit but not worth the adverse effects of missing deadlines this JV has tested everyone's patience and sure the missed deadlines have cost shareholder value. Gant charts would just exacerbate the problem. Obviously just my opinion .

As Arkwright said its been a funny old day(year) so lets rejoice in our positive annual share price which we all still know is rather silly.

I found the charts very helpful in keeping track of all the various projects that were going on and at what stage they had achieved and often would refer to it when someone mentioned one on here.

Don't agree on grant chart pal but agree on a lot of other stuff. Mining has so many variable outside their control and guant charts just makes a rod for own back by inflicting timescale they cannot control. JV being prime example

My tuppence on a comparison between AAU an CHF, and why PG may suit one more than the other...

KS is clearly an extremely professional, safe pair of hands, albeit with a low risk tolerance. He under promises and consistently over delivers. All good.

Great stuff for a specific category of investor. However, AIM and a history (albeit long gone) of serial and consistent dilution was historically damaging. Don’t get me wrong, still my largest holding. In my opinion, though for the preceding reasons PG may or may not be the best fit.

However, CHF are a different ball game, mainly in terms of possessing a clearly ravenous and risk tolerant management team with a perceptually more stable listing and the reduced future dilution which comes with it. And with the likes of Martin French and Mike Parker choosing PG, there comes a vote of confidence. These guys are clearly very hungry for BIG returns and early retirements. You can practically see Martin French salivating in his interviews. They are going for it.

A tale of two companies, both with the highest levels of professionalism, yet poles apart in urgency, and I’m delighted, no, extremely exited to have them both form over half of my portfolio. And that’s not even to mention my most exciting holding...

Barring endless strains of COVID and Armageddon more or less (our Governments are doing their level best), I’m still sleeping soundly with 5 shares and no plans to change anytime soon.

Happy Xmas to all, and may 2021 bring blast off.🌋

Yes happy Christmas everyone. Let's hope we can have some spectacular discoveries in 2021 at Salinbas (Hot Gold Corridor) , Kiziltepe, Tavsan and Cyprus driving growth on a par to the likes of GGP. Fingers crossed we are sitting on a very bright future. Good luck everyone. Enjoy yourselves.

They need to be more marketing focussed. The answers to the Webinar questions should have been dealt with quickly and shareholders kept informed of when they would be released. As I have said many times they need to issue a Gantt chart showing all the projects, the timescales and priorities. The vision and strategy need to be clearer which hopefully will happen post ratification etc.Room to up their game imo.

They issue Flash Notes after all significant RNS's and their activity increased in 2020 with a new team and a more supportive senior management. The grass is always greener and all that. The Co themselves need perhaps to be more proactive arranging meetings with Institutions/Fund Managers. I suspect we are where we are because largely that is what the Co. have wanted.

Metal Tiger went a long time ago but pretty sure Eldorado still hold. Starvest (SVE) is a sort of Investment Trust which remain solidly invested.

Would I be right in assuming ELD have sold and gone, as have MTR ? Does this mean that the company is largely in PI hands ?

They have done nothing special in 6years. I urge people to read the Rns for why we selected them and come to their own conclusion.
I don't call one broker note every 18months promoting the company nor have they persuaded institutions to invest.

On the basis that one role of PG is to act for the company and promote them, something appears to be lacking. PG are not giving any hints as to why this appears to be the case. AAU appear to think PG will do something beneficial at some point? I would be keen to know what is expected of PG by AAU and whether they are satisfied with the service or not. So I am with you on your suggestion bigglesbingham.

Thanks bigglesbingham. If their modus operandi doesn't suit a small company why would Chf chose them, a company further back in the exploration to production phase than Aau were when they chose them?

Kerim is or was very impressed with Kieran however it's clear that although he may be a decent analyst their infrastructure and modus operandi don't suit a small company like Ariana. The message from the company was we are listening let's get the deal done then they can address other matters when the time is available. I left it at that. I ain't resting on this point as the company's progress has been excellent but it is a poor show when the most prominent advocate spreaders the story is shareprophets. Perhaps a letter supported by advocates of this message listing shareholding's (similar to what we've been doing regarding voting) would be an idea in the new year. I will come back to this in January but be interested in peoples thoughts as to whether they think it's an idea with legs.?
