16/12/2020 18:31 | re. the seller(s), would it be reasonable to assume they have not finished yet, else mm's would have marked it up given that they can see the selling is being absorbed and without it they would soon be short of stock? | konil
16/12/2020 18:25 | bb, i would not have invested here were it not for the fact that aau is a producer. my rationale is that i'm looking for safer plays than pure exploration and with tavsan on the horizon it seems a good increase will follow (though now seemingly somewhat delayed). the production income reduces the likelihood of dilutive fundraisings, and has enabled aau to repay debt, which reduces default risk. i also like the fact that they have a relatively small mkt cap, leaves lots of room for increase. i know you have been here many years and have been through some of the things i've mentioned above (dilution, fundraising, etc.) and are now reaping your rewards. clearly you were looking for the early stage exploration play that aau was when you first invested, and now with the jv cash aau will soon have plenty of cash to continue that exploration with existing projects and new projects! so the best of both worlds but the production is an important element for me. without it there would be no chance of regular dividends which is very much on the agenda in the not too distant future. (the one-off divi is a nice big bonus too!) and once salinbas gets into production it should enable a step change in the divi. and cyprus of course. i too hope to be here for some time but i guess different mindsets - though aau's characteristics and stage of company development appears to accommodate that. lastly, i think pm investors will do well from what i think will be a continuing pm bull as the covid fallout continues to hit economies for some time to come. the scale of money printing probably nowhere near reflected in the rises to date. i'm told that pm price moves are magnified 3 to 5 times (up and down) by miners, so lots to look forward to if it goes that way. sorry for the ramble, just trying to explain why for me the production is an important aspect together with the exploration. | konil
16/12/2020 18:00 | Quite miffed by the volume and price action in the current period. Expected it to be flying by now tbh | charles clore
16/12/2020 17:58 | Can't wait for them to announce the installation of a second ball mill at kizy. Then we will know that serious increases production are almost there | charles clore
16/12/2020 17:32 | Biggles did say he thought the big seller was active and holding back any share price advance and now we see the late reported sale 11:15:56 5.23 1,500,000 78.45k I sincerely hope it's not a Director sale, but whoever it is they cast a long shadow over the share price action here, I think over the last few months we would have regained the mid 6's at the least if it wasn't for these scale of transactions. A bit depressing really on an upbeat day for the company, someone likes raining on our parade. | 1candc
16/12/2020 17:26 | Hope that's not a director deal again:( | lottsgold
16/12/2020 17:26 | In the presentation it says up 325,000oz extra potential I can see why they want to get the drills over there sharpish. | lottsgold
16/12/2020 17:26 | There's the big transaction/sale , this morning 11:15:56 5.23 1,500,000 78.45k | 1candc
16/12/2020 17:23 | Beyond the JV sign up the story here isn't production although that's nice in that no dilution. No the story here is Cyprus and salinbas and a another if I read the presentation correctly. Suits me as exploration companies tend to attract more investors in this climate. | bigglesbingham
16/12/2020 17:20 | not a month here or there if as i think the kizil ramp up is not scheduled to start until june. and then how long beyond that to get it to 500,000 (from 200,000 currently), i don't expect it to go from 200,000 to 500,000 on day 1? answers on postcard please, best answer would be that i've misunderstood and got it all wrong and that it will all be done and dusted by june when kizil will be processing 500,000 ! | konil
16/12/2020 17:00 | They said they had effectively found a duplicate area. | bigglesbingham
16/12/2020 16:59 | Three of us there pal 32 19 and 2m holdings. | bigglesbingham
16/12/2020 16:58 | If it's happening then no real issues to me tbh. A month here or there. I'm in for long term. Don't get me wrong want to get cracking but the hurdle has been crossed imho by all parties and shareholders agreeing . | bigglesbingham
16/12/2020 15:54 | I’m not sure this is going to be until later in the year as you say Konil, they will start sourcing the equipment soon but H1 was mentioned for it to be in place. By the sounds of it this will only increase production up to 25,000oz at most unless they start digging a higher grade pit sooner so will not have a doubling of ounces impact anyway. It is needed to process higher amounts of lower grade. | lottsgold
16/12/2020 15:09 | bb, what is your take on the timing of the ramp up to 500,000 at kizil? when will it start? when will it be completed? | konil
16/12/2020 14:58 | exactly, its the permit that could hold everything up. | konil
16/12/2020 14:41 | Well deal been signed by all parties subject to gov tick box. Deposit monies paid over by Oz. From my reading shareholder will vote yes therefore deal finalised 31st dec subject to this tick box. Happy days. | bigglesbingham
16/12/2020 14:37 | bb, hope they get a move on and issue the permit! | konil
16/12/2020 14:35 | All these buys and no tick up must have seller in background | bigglesbingham
16/12/2020 14:29 | The permit re JV sign off is monopolies mergers sign off so they are expecting any issues because Turkish company gets more of pie. Also Turkish government works over Xmas. | bigglesbingham

16/12/2020 14:21 | listened to the webinar. story as strong as ever. but did not like - unknown date for receipt of final permits so jv could be delayed further (though of course not in company control) - one-off divi unlikely until late march at best assuming jv permits come in january also not sure the ramp up to processing 500,000 at kizil will be done by june, maybe i got it wrong but i thought ks said that ramp up would start in june? obviously prefer the first option so hope i've got that wrong. hoping that the market will wake up to this opportunity and value the company accordingly notwithstanding the jv/divi timing issues which are purely short term. otherwise share price will be stuck here for some time unless gp improves further. | konil
16/12/2020 14:15 | Mine is now only 1.5m too between my own and my daughters accounts.. Every little helps!I was at 3.5m at one point in time but half of it had 5 bagged so had to do the sensible thing!! :) | kirbs4
