13/12/2020 18:12 | Hi all, just a quick question, is there anything in the 'new' JV that states (as per the board header) that the mine at Salinbas will be funded with loans? My fear is that the majority shareholder will fund their 53% in cash (which they have the means to do) then dilute the less wealthy partners....... | rjwoodrjwood
13/12/2020 17:22 | I sincerely hope the excitement is a little more than we've seen over the past few months biggles. Anyone uniformed looking at the share price of late might assume the company is losing money or taking on a liability rather than raking it in from pre-JV operations and gaining a dragon on board in return for a shedload of cash! Or am I just being pessimistic here? | charles clore
13/12/2020 16:11 | And then the excitement will build re exploration of salinbas and Cyprus | bigglesbingham
13/12/2020 15:59 | Yes once the extra cash is added to the coffers the share price should re-rate to 7.5p ish IMO | cool hand kev
13/12/2020 14:14 | I am very much looking forward to Arianas new projects, finding out what Kerim has in mind. This will provide the knowledge we need to know we are on to even bigger things holding our money longer term in the company. | soulsauce
13/12/2020 13:11 | Lets hope next years drilling progresses faster than the agreement has. Not sure if Ariana or the JV decides on timeline for exploration. I am expecting it will be Ariana(good), which will be rewarded on the basis that any finds rewarded with 3x costs, I believe that the exploration agreement applies to future Salinbas finds but I am not absolutely certain on that. | thanksamillion
13/12/2020 13:09 | Well said Plasybryn I am very much looking forward to next year with the new look, transformed Ariana Resources spreading its wings and growing its assets with a major league partner plus scope for fully funded exploration and resource discovery elsewhere. There could be a lot of news flow coming our way. We all know the disappointing share price does not reflect the value here and we all know of some of the huge valuations to be found elsewhere on AIM, watch this space... | 1candc
13/12/2020 12:08 | I'm no expert biggles so take what I say with a very big pinch of salt; but the chart looks to me like having a fair chance of a tick-up. Ideally we now need the 20 day Weighted Moving Average (WMA) to cross above the 50 day WMA line. It is very close. Since early November, admittedly on very poor volumes, there has been a slight trend up with generally higher highs and higher lows (just), but it really needs to tick higher now to maintain the marginally upward momentum. It is close to the bottom of the Bollinger band so again hopefully will move up from that position. To me the Chart seems perfectly primed for the impact of news flow over the next few weeks as hopefully shareholders ratify the Joint Venture Agreement (Transaction)and allow £28.35m to flow into our coffers - amazingly that is currently 50% of our current Market Capitalisation. As biggles I believe said the other day, that values everything else we will and do own, plus assured profit flows at a ridiculous £28m. Talk about a value disconnect or what. Have a look at Greatland Gold (GGP) and see the impact of a major (Newcrest) joining their party. Up 36,000 % over 5 years, 1700% over 1 year. Look at the impact of Linde joining forces with ITM Power (up 1400% over 2 years) or Bosch etc. with Ceres Power (up 500% over 2 years). Kerim is a smart cookie and he knows the way our bread is buttered going forward in my opinion. It is easy to be lulled into thinking the current valuation must be correct. I say it must be wrong. But just my view . | plasybryn
12/12/2020 18:48 | What chart?? | bigglesbingham
12/12/2020 17:50 | Chart still holding up??? | plasybryn
12/12/2020 16:36 | Hmm profit likely to be much lower than cash in bank I suspect, and surely it should be stated in Circular/be part of agreement. Kev - As I understand it, Yep. | thanksamillion
12/12/2020 16:09 | I seem to remember Kerim saying that all profit up to the agreement settled would be retained by Ariana and Proccea. | paul280i
12/12/2020 15:08 | Is this on top of the $35.75 million? | cool hand kev
12/12/2020 14:48 | Surely the new JV deal would not include cash retained in the 'old' JV? | dixi
12/12/2020 13:26 | Circular shows $2M being paid by Xenit to Galata for the satelite sites but does not mention any pre-deal dividend to transfer remaining cash to Proccea/Ariana, anyone any thoughts on this. | thanksamillion
12/12/2020 10:40 | We've been asking ourselves same thing. The investor relations and marketing need to be looked at but the companies fundamentals are excellent and when this deal goes though if people vote as they have indicated then some blue sky opportunities at salinbas and although the rns re Cyprus was very factual the company are exceptionally optimistic regarding the pr on sects there and looking forward to really getting stuck in. If either of those prospects were stand alone propevfd with companies new to market with reasonable brokers then they would fly. We have the assets the cash and the cash cow of a producing mine!! And we are 5.1p with a 1p divi round corner. Go figure. That why a added more Friday to take me up to 3% figure after JS exercised warrants. Could be an exceptional new year. | bigglesbingham
12/12/2020 10:30 | I contacted HL and they directed me to the Ariana web site and the circular. It should be on the Corporate Action on HL website soon I would think. | paul280i
12/12/2020 10:09 | OK soul will do the same today and follow up with them next week to ensure my yes vote is included Done, looking forward to an exciting future! | 1candc
12/12/2020 09:22 | Have been an aau investor since 2017 and I sold out on ggp as I think its had its run (for now) and is over valued. The more I look at aau, what with the sale in Turkey, the big cash pile they are going to have to develop the Cyprus potential, plus the special dividend. Why is this still only 5p a share? Sometimes I just don't understand the stock market. BTW often pop in to catch up on the thread, and thanks to the very knowledgeable long term holders who post regularly. | amunro
12/12/2020 09:22 | I have left a secure message with them 1candc to vote for the recommendation. | soulsauce
12/12/2020 09:09 | anyone using HL contacted them yet or too early as RNS not out yet? | 1candc
12/12/2020 08:25 | Whoop whoop. I’ll be voting yes. Just what we have been waiting for. | ironstorm
11/12/2020 20:05 | I plan to vote yes as soon as I can my ISA is with Halifax and it hadn't been communicated as of yet. As I say it's a first for me and I wouldn't want to miss the vote so please let me know if I should be pushing them. I will vote yes also, I can see a clear coherent plan which will create amazing value so I'm in. Does anyone have a best guess at our cash position going into the deal? | lottsgold
11/12/2020 19:48 | Well now read circular and thoughts confirmed. Forum for q and a next week. Summarises discussions on this board quite nicely. As many will assume I'll be voting yes. In a nutshell a smaller piece of a pie with enhanced shorter to medium returns in the exploration and production space with a significant cash inducement and funds to divest into jurisdictions which are less unpredictable . Simples . | bigglesbingham |
