09/12/2020 13:28 | SS, Agreed Seems to be another large seller though... | gamesplayer
09/12/2020 13:25 | Well it's pleasant to see that the share price has held up so well given 5m have been thrown at the wall in recent days. | soulsauce
09/12/2020 13:21 | At this particular moment in time, ie just as some major elements of the 'story' are coming together here, no I wouldn't have acted as he has. I'm fortunate that yesterday I invested more here after making good profits elsewhere and having no need for immediate access to the money. However, in the current Economic Situation we have here in UK, there may well be forced sellers in AAU that need the cash to keep the lights on. His 5m share disposal will likely have disadvantaged them. That's a different Big Picture but there isn't only 1 Big Picture in play in the world. Edit: Fair comment by GamesPlayer that it could be due to closed period rules, and this was his only window to do this for some time. | zedder
09/12/2020 13:21 | Hopefully he's now stopped and the price will drift up with the balance of purchases. Also, I wonder whether he sold now because of entering a closed period? Surely could have got more if he held on (albeit selling some to pay the exercise price). | gamesplayer
09/12/2020 13:19 | Does anyone know where we can find what warrants are outstanding? Did wonder if the larger sells were directors exercising again. Certainly taken rewards this year. | lottsgold
09/12/2020 13:17 | If you actually look into the licenses there are many that haven't been touched. | lottsgold
09/12/2020 13:14 | And if you were in his shoes you wouldn't act the same? Commenting on how others should behave morally smacks of hypocrisy, many here would happily be in his fiscal shoes and act in just the same manner as him, after all we are all invested here to make as much money as possible are we not? | 1candc
09/12/2020 13:12 | Lol, at least he had the decency to update us on the JV first this time. | soulsauce
09/12/2020 13:03 | And thus answering who is the big seller. cyberhub the Chf web site explains very well why copper mining died out on Cyprus. A culmination of things including the war but none of which involved mined out reserves, only the easily got reserves at the time. There are still a multitude of Vms deposits on all sides of the Troodos. They also explain why the 'clean' gold wasn't exploited. | soulsauce
09/12/2020 13:00 | Has he done something different to normal corporate practice? Or is he meant to wear sack cloth and ashes and flagellate himself? | 1candc
09/12/2020 12:58 | So trousers £167k and ends up with 1m more shares. Nice work if you can get it! | zedder
09/12/2020 12:56 | Hmmm, he exercised 6M options and then sold 5M of them? Not a massive vote of confidence... | cyberbub
09/12/2020 12:55 | Lottsgold I guess the question is why they stopped mining - was it just the 1974 invasion? Or was it because they'd mined out the reserves? | cyberbub
09/12/2020 12:53 | New RNS out, KS share sales then share purchases, increases holding by 1,000,000 explains those large sells yesterday and day before. The big seller has been identified while the even bigger buyer has been identified :-) | 1candc
09/12/2020 12:23 | Normally a company would plan a meeting and then inform participants of the date. Ariana however is different. They inform participants of the date first and then plan the meeting. Only later is the meeting formally announced. | charles clore
09/12/2020 11:58 | "30th December we're planning our general meeting" Quote, unquote, doesn't sound like that's the date that they will decide when to have the General meeting rather it sounds like the 30th IS the date Listen - 1m 56s | 1candc
09/12/2020 11:51 | Didn't he say they're planning? As in when it's planned they can RNS? | shortarm
09/12/2020 11:49 | CC - You'd of thought so, I was surprised to hear it but very pleased at the same time! | 1candc
09/12/2020 11:44 | General meeting on 30th should be RNS'd imho | charles clore
09/12/2020 11:43 | Lottsgold - I would imagine that the long term plan is a full takeover of Venus. | red imp
09/12/2020 11:35 | No, first mention of it to my knowledge | 1candc
09/12/2020 11:34 | Did we know about the 30th before this? | gamesplayer
09/12/2020 11:26 | Good, confident interview. Thanks for the link. | jaf1948 |
