17/8/2024 12:17 | Today received update from Opus Restructuring & Insolvency including a resolution to sign agreeing to their expenses. Cash of £105,318.88 has been reduced to £28,731.89 by £51,909.31 of administration expenses. Which leaves 7,977,672 shares in JHI Associates Inc. to be distributed which Opus put a possible value on of £5,051,750. The London/Canadian law firm of McCarthy Tetrault are apparently assisting Opus with the calculation and distribution of the JHI shares. | c2b
27/6/2024 09:37 | As no one has received their JHI shares, I am beginning to suspect we have all been scammed and victims of fraud. | shareho1der
27/12/2023 19:14 | I have heard nothing not even what allocations are! | geavsie

26/5/2023 07:46 | So decision day at 5pm in the Falklands (why so late?) 9pm our time, ahead of a Bank Holiday here, so when do we get to hear if this has gone through, and if it hasn't, what happens next? | c2b
04/5/2023 14:14 | Not many holding 1,000,000 shares here too volatile | pirates4
04/5/2023 13:19 | To work out the likely value, isn't it easier to read the R.N.S. That suggests that JHI values, its own shares at $0.71 per share, and states that the deal is worth about 2.23p per Argos share. What we do not know is the level of other liabilities. If there were none, the shares should be worth about 2.23p each. The RNS only refers to certain creditors who are to be paid in JHI shares, leaving 8M for Argos shareholders.Has anyone done the research to establish the level of other liabilities. | bensdad2
04/5/2023 12:30 | But most of that $43m is not in the company now, nothing's earning in the company now, and just because someone paid large sums of money for shares in a company a few years back, that doesn't signify anything if it's now 'Money Sunk and Lost'. Case in point:- Tens of millions have gone into Argos at share prices multiples of today, and it paid for Seismic that showed targets equally as good as next door Rockhopper, all to no avail if you can't get the money to drill it, and if the backers you do get back out. | c2b
04/5/2023 12:30 | it's not because jhi is private and shares arent tradeable on a market. but as an investment, better than arg as they have the clout and finance to get the assets moving forward. they will no doubt float in due course to materialise their assets | tuna hunter
04/5/2023 12:26 | If JHL shares is £1.50 per share.ARG shareholders will have 8m x £1.5 = 12m.Therefore, ARG should now be trading at 12/220 = 5.45p | shareho1der
04/5/2023 12:12 | pirates 8,000,000 in exchange for 213,000,000 shares JHI sold a stake back 2021 for $2 per share www.oedigital.com/ne so if you have 1,000,000 arg shares, you will get 38,000 JHI shares even if JHI shares are worth say $1.50, then your stake in JHI is worth $57,000 they are churning out $43m+ profit (that was a few years ago... it'd be nearly double that now) markets.ft.com/data/ | tuna hunter
04/5/2023 12:01 | 8,467,820 JHI Common Shares Compared to 213,000,000 outstanding in ARG.Not much to had out, if ARG are cancelling their shares. | pirates4
04/5/2023 11:31 | So why aren't the ARG announcements telling us that ? | c2b
04/5/2023 09:40 | from another board : if you guys do the calcs, JH Assoc. have paid quite a hefty sum... certainly way more than the current market cap of ARG. ARG shareholders are getting a slice of JH Assoc super cheap. The company makes $40m+ profit / annum. Last time they sold shares in the company to another outfit, the price was c£1.60 per share. This deal values the ARG shares at 4p. | tuna hunter
03/5/2023 08:36 | Another lesson is don't be as negative as this guy in life and you'll be fine :D VAST will get your losses back today ;) | g2theary |
