They are saying they are having talks about fundings so will not publish their accounts next week. But why announcing this early and dropping the share price? Have never seen such scenario before.

Argos Resources Ltd - Falkland-Islands based oil and gas exploration company focused on the North Falkland Basin - Announces suspension of its shares from July 1 as it will not publish its annual report by the June 30 deadline.

Delay is due to ongoing discussions with auditors to gauge the basis on which its annual audited accounts should be prepared. "As a result of the company's extended discussions regarding its funding position...the company will not be in a position to publish its 2021 financial statements by the deadline of June 30, 2022," it explains.

Meanwhile, firm says Chair Ian Thomson provides it with an up to GBP110,000 loan facility available until January 31, 2023. Loan is interest-free. Argos Resources will have enough working capital until July 2023, it says.

"There is a reasonable expectation that the group and the company will continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future," firm adds.

look attractive again, never bought before they took off last time. BOR is in a clear uptrend which bodes well for these.

JNBRW, yes, you are a very bad person. Especially bad, because you have quite unsportsmanlike mentioned your sale price. Tut, tut, expect your post to be dredged up months down the line by some nit wit:)

Smart people get greedy when things are cheap and out of favour and nobody wants them. They take the risk and potentially make a lot of money on that risk. The ones who never take any risks and don't have the imagination to, criticize, and call foul. Bringing up whatever dirt they can to justify their own lack of imagination.

I'm sure navitas sees the potential in North falkland basin, it could get greedy aswell as rockhopper. Which is right on the borders , double partnership could be a first.

The Patriotic Irishman, by "vociferously ramp", by this do you mean discuss the comparison of market caps and valuations of the other Falklands stocks on this bb and on the BOR bb?

I don't see any ramping, what I do see is the correct analysis of how undervalued the stock was earlier this year and how it would increase in valuation and price, which it has done. If you were watching someone on Bloomberg telling you how amazing the Falklands is for prospective oil resources, how the economics are totally different at 100 USD a barrel plus, at why Europe is going to have to search this decade for more oil, then no doubt your thought process would have been completely different, "wow, that guy on Bloomberg called that one correctly and now look at it, went from 1p back in Feb this year to over 4p today, that's a 300% return!". But when you read something on these bb's you judiciously call people petty names and mock them by calling them a ramper. Lol at that.

The Patriotic Irishman, yes, I bought low and sold high in March, I was correct with my analysis and the end result was that I made a profit. Recently bought back in as the fundamentals look good for further share price appreciation. Isn't that what you should do, or in your case is it more about gauging success on whether someone is a long term holder?

Your point is that people shouldn't buy and sell shares at a profit, if that profit is made in a relatively short period of time, if they do they are bad? Or that there is some kind of weird gentlemanly way that one should buy and sell shares. Get off your high horse.

Like long term holders are some how more noble because they have held a stock longer than someone else, that's absolutely ridiculous. The long term holders also bought in to make a profit. Honestly, it seems like a lot of investors on these boards class how long one holds a stock as how successful they are. "oh but I bought in at much higher prices and have been holdings for years....so how dare you come along and make an excellent return in a few weeks when I have been holding a stock for years".

People are buying ARG because it seems an obvious step for it to increase in price due to a number of positive factors. Whether they make a profit in an hour, a day or a month, I say well done to those people. Congratulate the success of being correct.

Navitas will surely be bringing a rig or two to the Falklands to appraise the sea lion. ARG acreage is yet to be drilled.

Falklandi - best to ignore noise and intraday even daily news. Look at the share price once a week and see where it is in 6 months time ( prob will surprise many on here).
