Tbh, I hold a lot of Arg & Bor.
Hopefully will sell once the share price in 25p-50p range.
Both owns 100% of their acerages, POO and the
Arrival of Navitas has made the Falkland oilies less
Riskier.
Argos has excellent acerage, shallow waters and awesome CPR.
They did attract Nobil when POO was less the $60.

Sure, right now one could buy 1% of the company for the same price as a nice Range Rover.

Agree with your post. In this new energy environment these bombed out stocks are getting some attention. I'm thinking it may be a while though before interest really builds here, one of the reasons being the lack of stock available to buy yesterday. Think they may fall back in the near term.

If you look at telbaps post, not offence and please don't be upset, but this is why people either make money or they don't in stocks.

The rise is due to the news at RKH, this news then makes investors start to consider the other two Falklands stocks, which are BOR and ARG. Of the two stocks, ARG is the cheaper and risker one. The news at RKH starts to derisk BOR and ARG, hence why people are coming in to buy the stock. Both stocks are still cheap, but funding issues do hang over ARG, but the upside here is in the 100s of %.

All of the above is occurring in a world where the oil price is above 100 USD and where Europe is going to be searching for oil security away from Russia. Further adding to the refocus on stocks, such as the Falklands oil explorers. The world still needs significant new oil finds.

Hope this helps.

IMHO, DYOR, etc.

Yes, may need a placing. What do you think about whether they will go for a rights offer ( 3 for 1 ?? etc). like Bor did this time. And I seem to recall the directors stumped up quite a lot of cash themselves for a small fundraising last time.Either way I'm sure they not going to give much away in terms of dilution in the current environment for oil/ gas. Opinions welcome.

Even after the rise today the market cap is only 7million. With the Falkland project looking more likely to go ahead and if argos gets a partner of their own ( or even Navitas or a joint partner buys them out) or it does a joint venture with another oiler, the share price will many multiples of where it is now.

I guess Ukraine and the European fuel crisis may prompt many to take a fresh look here. Rkh got it's partnership agreement confirmed today. Mms being a bit mean though, won't let you buy many

Really? The reality is, Not proven.

This is what ARG wrote here;

'General exploration risk'

"......no commercial volumes of oil or gas have yet been discovered and there is no certainty that such discoveries will ever be made."
