The best thing is to find liquidity for this share, the price is pointless if you can't sell or buy as much as want. Let's hope they do fundraising like BOR.

The share price was higher in Feb 21, when...

- The oil price was much lower
- European countries were still planning on getting most of their energy from Russia
- Oil companies were still walking around in the dark believing the green energy story
- There was no realization that the world needs more oil and needs to make discoveries

Do all oil companies drilling in Argentina waters need Argentina licences to operate.

If this Russian thing turns out to be long term, then the West has no option but to spread its wings ever more widely. Facts probably are that if you pump enough money into previously underexplored areas believed to have real potential, surely you have a much greater chance of eventually being successful, purely based on the law of averages. That must be a bull point for this and similar type companies.

Who bought out Desire Petroleum back in the years. Good early buy when they where 10p the £1 in a matter of days.

That would be a smart option, share costs, etc. RKH, BOR and ARG are all going to move in unison, any positive news on one will rerate the others. ARG is arguably the most leveraged to positive news.

BOR moving strongly again, it's not so long ago that they had similar market caps. ARG has a long way to go yet. Hardly a 'P & D', when I have been the only poster on here for most of the last few weeks, lol a one man P & D. If I had that much power over peoples minds I would be taking on Putin:))

JNBRW - If it is a pump and dump then just leave and don't participate.

What you have said is actually quite ridiculous, in a world where oil is well above 100 USD a barrel and where the demand outlook for the future, not just short term, is very strong then it seems logical that the world needs to start exploring and finding new sources of hydrocarbons. As much as the politicians say that we will decarbonize they are just stating nice words and don't understand the pending energy crises which has now happened earlier than it would have done due to the issues in Ukraine.

At a previous market cap of 3.6m GBP, for a company which has licenses over potential multi 100 and maybe billion barrel deposits it was a bit of a no brainer that the price had to start moving. There is still huge upside here, just take a look at the rerating of BOR and the market cap of that stock now.

People without much imagination always state the simple things so that they can understand it. It's a P & D. What we are seeing now is a move away from Russia's energy, this will have decade long repercussions for Europe. We should never have got ourselves into this position and I place a lot of the blame on Germanies terrible energy strategy.

You could be right or wrong but there is no dispute oil prices are rising and Falklands could be the right fit for someone if not the UK. Besides, any funding raising would be absorbed easily, just like at BOR.

This looks more like a pump and dump prior to another fundraising due by end April (as cash coffers are empty) to keep the lights on for another year.

You're missing the point, producing wells of gas and oil are being deliberately shut down in our own backyard ( let's not get into the energy transition debate) that's the reality. There really is no appetite ( or billions of funding for a brand new oil frontier thousands of miles from anywhere.

It's already been discovered with its huge potential just need partners seismic data completed. Drilling time.

Only trouble with that theory is why would UK spend billions on discovery, drilling and then transporting oil from the other side of the globe when we have shut in/ closed producing oil and gas fields on our own doorstep in the north sea ?

Potential for billions of barrels of oil across the license, with much of it de-risked due to the Sea Lion find. It has just been the cost of extracting it and a low oil price, plus easier access to oil from places like Russia which have put companies off. Now the Europeans are having to rethink their terrible and misguided strategy of focusing on Russian oil and gas.

Whole purpose of the extension for PL001 was to seek partner for farmin, as covid 19 happened oil prices dropped and staff were isolating Now hope it's a new chapter for Argos and possible partners.
