Well, he wont have found many that were me, what a sad man he is. I think this is still another 3 years away from ringing the bell, I would say that if you look at the Lundin multi multi baggers they all take 5-8 years and you could argue from the start of the drilling there is still 3-6 to go, however I expect a buy out by 2015 or thereabouts.
I do think though Tullow are not having it all their own way right now and Sabisa seems to be a tighter ship, Sabisa is crucial to the re-instatement of $10 plus here.
Frustrating game right now, Im all cash (thank god) wouldve been another 40% down now.

Made a few quid with AOI and will re-enter when my gut tells me.

He posted links to places where he found web sites with Marty50 as a username. Re AOI. I agree, after Ngamia, everyone thought we'd prove up 100,000s of bopd in quick time. Not the case. They waited over a year just to start testing it, which frustrated a lot of people, me included. But eventually, they'll get to that.

Yes runster always watching AOI from the sidelines.
Im monitering Tullow lately and there last few drills have tarnished their record a little.
Sabisa either sends this rocketing or itll take a knock again, simple as that really.
E Africa stocks have taken a bit of a whack, I suppose the realisation that its a long long road to riches has kicked in, the euphoria of a new drilling frontier has died down a bit, there again everythings getting smashed up.

What exactly did W1 do that was removed about me? Just curious.

Hi Marty. Yes, things are very quiet over on III at the moment. Our friend has driven most posters away. Did you see that the closing price was revised from $6.05 to $6.30 just after close. Up 5.3%. Short positions closing or a leak perhaps.

ok... I've never heard of him or read any of his posts, so I will defer to your knowledge.

No, not at all.

If Id have adopted the stance that unless I sold I wouldnt lose I would be about $70,000 CAD worse off here and $30,000 worse of with TPN and $25,000 with HRN, so that theory doesnt cut any ice with me, AOI will be okay (I think) but lets have it right, this is taking a good while and the drilling is tough.

If you knew W1, you would hate him like 95% of the human race, but he does good research for all to read....a bit like a cyber-teaboy.

That's not very charitable of you... have you lost lotsadosh elsewhere, and it's put you in a bad mood?

And he hasn't lost a penny unless he sold

I just feel sorry for the poster W1 on iii he has put so much time and effort into Africa Oil and his investment has practically halved recently, but to be fair he has been his usual cheery self all the way through his financial meltdown.
If you need any information on AOI he is the person who spends hours and hours finding it.

The mug.

Yes it is a long term play, I think it will go lower then will get back in.
I sold out at an average of $8 on the way down from $10.60- 6 a few months back.
I was totally convinced this was going to $20, but then when you take a step back....look where it is the lack of pipelines in the area and the tricky drilling involved then I think half a billion pounds and a bit is where this should be.

Long road ahead, but I believe it will work....one day.

Its a longterm hold here. 10-12 wells to be drilled in the next few years in Kenya/Ethiopia. Oil already discovered in abundance and flowed good quality light oil of 2,800bopd. Further tests ongoing with a deep zone, previously unexpected to yield much, flowing almost 300bopd. Hold and add is what I'm doing.

Considering that we are going to find and prove billions of barrels of oil in our license areas, I don't care what the short term price is.

$5.78 in Sweden now.

This is in a downward spiral, the 5m options @ $5.94 didnt help.

Lets look at this logically.

A couple of holes in the ground, with very little progress made lately.

Still worth £900m.

I reckon this is going to a cap of circa £600m until there are concrete commercial numbers of > 10,000 bopd.

$3.50-$4 on the way.......eh Warnado;)

Thats when Ill be back in, this stock is overblown.

Yup, positive on geology but negative on timing, looks like nobody wants investment for a few weeks at the moment.

Well, that was a poor day. The only downside to the Tullow update was Sabisa needing a sidetrack to enable logging and possibly testing.
