With the company taking out more than 100,000 shares per day its only a matter time before this heads back to 129 imo.

On the plus side the buy backs are at a lower price, so the company is getting more shares back into treasury and reducing their dividend payout to shareholders.., plenty to look forward to and still 7% while we wait...

trying to ignore the fairly extreme moves.
coking coal and LIORC prices are steady at the moment, so if the broker can hoover up cheap shares for the company from short term volatility, then it's win-win when the decision is made to go higher.

Yes, so that gives them a month for buybacks. If they were going to give out bad news next month, they wouldn't be buying back shares this month.

Because the buying is reactive not proactive. They have no interest in ramping up the price, quite the opposite. They will simply wait and mop up loose stock. I somehow doubt we will get any price-moving news until the buyback is completed.

I don't get it why they are dropping it if they know buying is lined up

The market will hold back the share price to accommodate the buyback. This is the time to add. Sadly, I added yesterday:-((I will be adding a few more if they are still around this level when I have the necessary funds.

Seems like they just want to buy them back in cheaply rather than give the share price a shove.
Can’t blame them but not what I really wanted.
