Its still a falling knife but there were some monster buys today. It will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings ahead of results this week.

Picked up from a post on LSE:Interesting comments from JT in the interview below regarding the status of some of APF's pipeline.1. Fortescue has taken a 19.99% stake in the Canarico copper project - one of the biggest undeveloped copper deposits globally.2. Rumours that the US government are looking at a stake in the Piaui Nickel project which is run by Brazilian Nickel. US government looking to secure supply of critical metals and minerals.https://www.brrmedia.co.uk/event-list-whitelabel/?partner=sharetalk&apiitems=6&companycode=9APF

The 9p / c9% dividend looks even stronger now, H1 results on Thursday but we also know some commodity prices have or are recovering well, especially Copper, and the progress made at BKY Salamanca resulting in another royalty getting ever closer to contributing..

We should also have some post reporting updates for July/August perhaps some comment on Piaui Nickel/Cobalt progress or a new one in the same space possibly with HZM who have recently signed term sheets for their USD325M debt finance to advance their Araguaia project towards construction.. :o)

Absolutely. I've added at 105 today. Will save a bit of dry powder in case we do go sub £1

Trading around 0.7 times book isn’t it, unless impairments are coming on Thursday?
Under a quid would be very cheap though

Results on Thursday. Expecting to see some director buys once they've been released. Agree though, H1 has been disappointing - though accept Covid has had an impact. I think APF got knocked back on the SO4 financing too.

It’s nearly September, even factoring in the Covid disruption, I am a little disappointed that we have not closed any new deals in 2020. She could test £1 this week.

The Group has a 1% life of mine NSR royalty on the Salamanca uranium project located in Spain and operated by ASX-listed Berkeley Energia Limited (‘BerkeleyR17;). The project consists of four main deposits (Retortillo, Alameda, Zona 7 and Gambuta) and is located in Salamanca Province, Spain, approximately 250km west of Madrid

Do APF still have a shareholding in BKY?

Well JT mentioned in the recent presentation that they were working on cobalt, copper and rare earths transactions. They'd hoped to have got things over the line by now, but things were slowed by covid.

====== Platform 9 and 3/4 -- Global Recession now arrived =====

The worst in living memory forecast

How long will it last ?

Years is forecast --- but how many ???

buywell thinks all this DEBT raised by over stimulus everywhere is going to make things worse than they would have been .

And that would have been a b@stard

Think APF might get involved with the final $100m required by HZM. Saying that, Julian has been adamant he's keen on sulphide operations.

Come on in, the waters warm.
Been in & out, know the management & the project backwards.

Surprising weakness given the gains in the LIORC share price last two days.
Although I’m guessing the stronger GBP not helping the share price

Well if she reaches £1 again I will consider buying some more. Old King coal is dead it would seem.

My small top up limit order triggered yesterday @ 118p. Good value in my view.

Expect further deals to be completed by the team over the next few months.

When results come out way under what I was expecting I always sell and then look at in detail to see if its worth getting back in - so I no longer hold.

My problem here is that Q1 revenue was stated at £12.6m (TU 27/4/20) - stating that H1 revenue is £18.5m - £19.0m means that Q2 revenue was only between £5.9m and £6.4m, which is a massive fall from Q1 - although I do note the £1m adjustment due to Glencore. There seems to be more than pricing issues involved here.

I'll sit out until the detail in the H1 accounts.
