03/6/2020 07:25 | Well that's done and dusted now then. Never great to see directors selling but this was a divorce settlement. Onwards.. | the deacon
27/5/2020 06:47 | jeez go get married so you end up SCREWED big time. I can see no real advantage in marriage! | farrugia
23/5/2020 06:17 | Maybe he did not want to sell his houses or his art, two very nice abodes hxxps://www.oceanhom hxxps://www.archisce | oli12
22/5/2020 20:01 | A PLC director selling down shares in his own company typically sends a very negative message to the market, I'm not at all surprised to see the disclosure accompanied by a perfectly valid reason...Looking forward to the next royalty declaration too... :o)... | laurence llewelyn binliner
22/5/2020 18:15 | @Erogenous Jones - Guess he needs the money to pay off the X. I honestly don't recall ever seeing this in an RNS before! | altras
22/5/2020 12:55 | Lucky the divorce was not finalized in March - the price is up around 60% from the lows. Timing significant - this puts a cap on the recent rise. | oli12
21/5/2020 18:26 | Thanks Oli - I suspect that is the case too. | melody9999
21/5/2020 16:00 | APF’s primary revenue source is the royalties from kestrel mine, mine producing well but coking coal prices are under significant pressure. That’s my guess. | oli12

27/4/2020 13:40 | I am pretty sure Julian said there were a couple of deals in the making during Q1, and only 1 announced so far.., a Q1 update today on Proactive Investor.. 46,000 shares matched in the last auction at 160p.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
27/4/2020 12:29 | Indeed. Nolan Watson also cited passive funds as one major reason companies may struggle to raise cash. A lot of investment money now gets exposure via ETF's etc, when in years past they'd be picking up equity in mining companies. It leaves royalty companies as the go-to for financing, with equity raising increasingly more difficult | the deacon
27/4/2020 12:01 | The Deacon, I expect those companies seeking cash to only increase over the coming weeks/months...It will be an investors market with reducing capital market appetite as the full economic impacts of COVID-19 become more and more apparent.. | haywards26
27/4/2020 10:00 | I think there's a big deal in the pipeline. Precious metal royalty companies increasingly looking at base metal miners for gold/silver credit royalties. Again, Nolan Watson in another interview mentioned that this is where precious metal royalty companies are seeing the best opportunities. Add that to what Julian Treger said about working with other companies on royalties that they wouldn't be able to do individually and it's reasonable to expect some large scale deals. Watson said he'd had a few base metal companies contact him looking for cash. | the deacon
27/4/2020 09:44 | Good trading update and increased divi..not many companies increasing divi payouts in current climate. We should also be approaching very favourable times for APF..restrained capital markets should equate to attractive investment opportunities. | haywards26
20/4/2020 21:26 | Demand and supply fundamentals might not be as bad as some brokers make out:- | podgyted
