25/9/2020 07:57 | 5m is pretty small and not likely to impact the publicly traded share price significantly, but being used to alert the wider world that there’s value at this level. Let’s see | farmers son
25/9/2020 07:45 | I’m not a fan of share buy backs. To me it indicates that the company is short of investment ideas and believes it is more profitable to buy its own shares. If they keep the shares on the register, then it affords the directors the opportunity to award themselves bonuses with out a shareholder vote. So not great .........IMHO | damp seaweed
25/9/2020 07:29 | Buy them at £1.10 level - re sell them at £2.10 in a year. | oli12
25/9/2020 07:27 | Shares to be held in treasury, and not cancelled, so it will not impact the share capital or yield...? GBP5M to be bought over 2 months max | laurence llewelyn binliner
25/9/2020 07:19 | On the positive it’s rather swift: £5m worth of shares to be purchased within 1 month from today. Should move up for now. | oli12
25/9/2020 07:16 | What do you do when your share is seriously out of favour. Yield is 7 percent +, prospects good, share price too low. Royalty not really understood in UK market imo IMO a buyback seems a sensible plan. The directors have purchased plenty, it's a good step. share price should be at least 20 percent higher IMO. | wallywoo
25/9/2020 07:03 | RNS: The old share buy back..... ummm. Personally never been a fan however I have not digested the details here yet. | oli12

22/9/2020 16:48 | 11.08.2020 update at BKY, the Group has a 1% life of mine NSR royalty on the Salamanca uranium project located in Spain, as the Company awaits the finalisation of the permitting process, it remains fully financed and ready to commence construction upon the granting of remaining permit. The Authorisation for Construction for the uranium concentrate plant as a radioactive facility ("NSC II") is now the only pending approval required to commence full construction of the Salamanca mine.. Making solid progress towards another APF royalty income stream there too.. Berkeley Energia Limited ("Berkley" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Urbanism License ("UL") has been granted by the Municipality of Retortillo under the terms established in the Urbanism Law and Urban Planning Regulations of Castilla y León. The UL is a land use permit needed for construction works at the Salamanca mine. The grant of the UL is a significant permitting milestone for Berkeley and a positive step in the development of the project. The Authorisation for Construction for the uranium concentrate plant as a radioactive facility ("NSC II") is now the only pending approval required to commence full construction of the Salamanca mine.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
22/9/2020 08:59 | Update on the Dugbe royalty with HUM, now Pasofino (VEIN) have taken over ARX to move the project to DFS by September 2021.., another revenue stream coming our way as Kestrel phases out.. The Project is subject to a secured 2% net smelter royalty payable to an affiliate of Anglo Pacific Group PLC ("APG"). This royalty provides that following the date that is six months from the commencement of commercial production in the event that quarterly sales of gold produced are less than 50,000 oz, additional quarterly payments will be required until such time as the cumulative royalty paid is US$15 million (the maximum total payment in any such quarter is equivalent to the royalty that would have arisen on sales of 50,000 oz of gold). Following this period, the royalty is 2% except where both the average gold price is above US$1,800 and sales of gold are less than 50,000 oz, in which case it increases to 2.5% in respect of that quarter. US$15 million is repayable to APG in certain limited circumstances, such as a change in control of Hummingbird Liberia and the concurrent termination of the royalty by APG. Certain events of default under the royalty, (e.g. non-payment of the royalty), are secured by legal charges over the assets of Hummingbird Liberia and a legal charge over the shares of Hummingbird Liberia, including the shares issuable to ARX under the Option Agreement.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
