14/7/2020 20:30 | Yeah I think it's around 4 years at current run rate. Agree there's time, and I'd have thought that with the scarcity of capital available to the mining sector at the moment there should be some options. Good opportunities here, Altius, TRR and alike for anyone with a longer term outlook. | the deacon
14/7/2020 18:51 | #The Deacon, how many years are left on our land footprint royalty at Kestrel..? 4 or 5 years at the current run rate..? GBP37M Kestrel income for 2019 is a big gap to fill, but if Julian adds 9 more royalties by 2025, half of which should be delivering revenue by the time Kestrel expires that goes a long way to making up for lost revenue.. The company also has 4 near term and 4 longer terms non producing projects in progress already with the Incoa calcium carbonate project in the bag so far for 2020.. So 8 current royalties leaving 7 after Kestrel 8 current owned non producing royalties and 4 become producers by 2025 9 new royalty additions and 5 more become producers by 2025 16 total producing royalties by 2024/2025 to at least offset Kestrel and add plenty more on top for 20-30 years ..? | laurence llewelyn binliner
14/7/2020 18:18 | Good point. Environment & Social Policies ESP are rightly becoming an important barometer of investment worthiness - could be a factor. Coal is profitable however many don’t want the association that comes with it. | oli12
14/7/2020 17:42 | I notice the divergence between APF share price and Altius for example. The latter has recovered well since March, and is making progress with institutional investors with regards to their ESG stance. From what i understand many were unhappy with coal forming a proportion of their portfolio, and management have been successful in instilling the virtues of their renewable royalty portfolio and how that's going to replace coal in the overall portfolio. I just wonder whether Julian and team have the same issues here, and whether they can successfully convince investors about their green credentials going forward. Thermal coal exposure is being phased out here, but I really want to see some tangible proof that there's going to be a 'green' replacement for Kestrel. That's going to be multiple assets required to replace that royalty, so until there's progress I can't see things recovering back to 160p+ | the deacon
14/7/2020 10:31 | Just trying to assess the prospects here. Some 40% of PF still exposed to coking coal, and I note the price has come down from $65-70 in Q1 to around $55 now - which probably explains the share price weakness. On the other hand, iron ore (c 20% of PF) price has risen from in the 600s to 780 today. Other base metal prices have been rising as well. So just considering the above, in the absence of any other info,I'm not sure the recent share price declines are justified - but maybe there are other factors I am not considering??? Thoughts welcome | melody9999
14/7/2020 06:48 | The H1 trading update normally lands in July - possibly next week. One hopes H2 will see some royalty acquisitions. | oli12
08/7/2020 15:29 | Yes agreed. The outlook for picking up base metal royalties is pretty good, with many companies relatively cash starved and hit with lower prices. | the deacon
08/7/2020 11:14 | Maybe some activity in H2 - it’s been a little quiet to say the least. | oli12
21/6/2020 19:16 | These buywells keep cropping up on various boards......what they all seem to have in common, is that all of them are as daft as a brush...... | munin
21/6/2020 03:48 | Make that years not months And buywell has news --the second wave started over a week ago Haywards26 12 Jun '20 - 14:31 - 9420 of 9422 0 0 0 I don't see the world economies returning to pre crisis levels for many months. Even when businesses get back to operating it will take a long time for confidence and activity levels to increase. This will be a slow process.. Many companies are shedding workforce. This is a deep recession. If a second wave and additional shutdowns then occur later this year, the markets will be back on their knees.. | buywell3
21/6/2020 03:45 | Will 99p hold in another market down leg ? | buywell3

04/6/2020 09:41 | I note action at Hummingbird Dugbe Gold Resource today, in which Anglo Pacific holds a royalty. Looks like the project will at long last be developed further as Hummingbird have farmed out 49% to progress it to DFS | troc1958 |
