I am going to go for AA as my pick in the competition next week I hope one of the interested parties will poke their heads over the parapet and actually bid now we have come to the closing date but I am getting worried by the price action which seems to say there is something amiss and all may not proceed as one would think. I am watching POG just now it’s a lesson in what happens in Russia and why it’s a high risk investing there as things can turn quickly. The new CEO led a bunch of ‘athletes’ into the head office smashed up the place put the frightners in the staff and then took the backup copies of the server and deleted it before leaving. The share price has risen bizarrely which maybe a combination of the gold price, being promoted to what seems like the Russian equivalent of the FTSE 100 and probably Russian investors thinking this is the normal way to change the board at a company and only good things will come. PwC were wise to avoid signing up to audit them I can imagine the pressure they would have been under to write what the new board wanted.
I am watching with fascination.

-->C0lin1. That is what I like, a competitive spirit.

They were preliminary results and I take the share price from II at around 5pm and it said 95p but now after auction period it mentions the closing price at 98p.

So when I publish the final results tomorrow (or sometimes this weekend) you will be moving up a few spots and your cumulative balance will also be reflected.

I just like to get something out on Friday after markets close so that you get an indicative figure.

Below are the preliminary results.

I will post the final results after auction and close of Canadian market sometime over the weekend. This week a congratulations to excellance with a 50% increase with HZM followed by Fozzie (EQT) and Bazboa (DDDD) with 25%.

Overall leader is Ilostthelot with almost £20K closely followed by Bazboa and excellance in 3rd place.
