always the same jeanesy,,,, I used to say the market hates uncertainty, but,, now I realise that the market doesn’t hate uncertainty, it’s simply adjusting current prices to reflect the changing nature of uncertainty.... Have you noticed how it always seems to heighten as we approach news events :-),,, interesting isn't it :-) Cheers Wan :-)

I understand people's frustrations with AAZ. Let us not forget though that COVID is a valid excuse for some of the lack of progress. My concern atmo is the silence about the JV with CGNR still not having been formalised. What is the hold up. They have done there due diligence. What is holding them up signing ? Surely they are not having second thoughts ? It was a deal that puzzled me and many others i know but a lack of official news on the deal is not helping either cause. CGNR has seen a falling shareprice since its initial rise. Some large sells going through too . Something needs to be said about the matter and soon.

LOL DP,,, there does seem to be a brewing crisis of confidence in AAZ by some of its shareholders right now,,, I understand the share price has stood still whilst other miners have soared like eagles,,, but, hopefully it's only the share price that's stood still and not the opportunity itself & we all know how fast it can rise (and fall LOL) on very small volume :-),,,, as I keep saying to myself,,, patience Wan patience :-) LOL,,, fingers crossed AAZ'ds share price will take a space flight some point this month LOL LOL I wish,,, no seriously I do wish LOL,,, oh well, them's that believes will hold and them's that don't will sell,,, as is the nature of the game we're playing :-),,, GLA Holders, Cheers Wan :-)

Having held this for about 24 months now and watching how this has developed over the last 9 months, I'm starting to get the sense of "when you don't know who the sucker is, it's usually you".

Apple might get an uplift from 5G, but I'm more comfortable holding PM's. Fortunately I invested a large wad in something other than AAZ last May. There's some on the other thread who seem to think being a shareholder in AAZ is akin to being part of a secret Masonic sect where criticism is beyond the pale! I wonder who was involved in the roadshow when AAZ first floated and are they still there? Their engagement with Blythweigh PR/IR agency last September doesn't appear to have produced any tangible results.

Agree FZ but the key now is increasing production and fully communicating the importance of the dip down. If we can reach the FY target with production heavily weighed towards the final quarter in an environment of rising gold prices that is hugely important. Selling 33k at 1700 and 47k at 1950 is much better than an even spread

how do you put that in context with the wide ranging discusion on the board in late May this year with regard to a potential porphery system

Well we have had a lot of speculation why the share price has been flat for a year.
From, Well its had a great run for the last few years.
Now we have if you want a price correlated to gold,buy gold.
Well sorry but i don't see ever of them as being correct.
Yes it had a great run for a few years, on what had been achieved in that time.
But you just can't ignore the extra profit that has been added with gold prices rising so much.
Then you have this new one, basically saying the gold price has nothing to do with AAZ. Its not correlated to the gold price?. Yes it is, in fact all gold miners have reacted over the last 12 months to gold rising.
What we have here is the fact that production has been falling.
We have been told that Q3 production will also be down. But Q4 is going to drag the target back. Well the market wants to know more how Q4 is going to get us back on target.
I think any news now will be meaningless. The only news that is going to get this moving is news on increased production.

To be fair baddeal, the house broker (John Meyer) stated it was a takeover situation in an interview earlier this year and prior to that Bill stated that he was limited in what he could say due to the takeover code. You can hardly blame investors for thinking that it might have been a takeover situation.

Yes, Apple is 3.5x the combined market cap of the precious metals industry.

The link below is has the graph.
Its a report by Crestcat and is the rational for buying mining shares. There are a lot of good graphs which go back years and put the current gold (and silver) rally in context, ie we are at the start of a bull market for PMs and mining shares.

The fact that Apple is 3.5x the market cap the mining shares says a lot....it does not need many people to start buying mining shares for the sector to explode.

Surely, the excitement element will come from basically taking over Conroy Gold. At the same time granny AAZ will hold the purse strings and pay a dividend.

When posters refer to the price having done nothing for 12 months it pays to remember that last year the price was inflated off the back of rumours of a buy out, government deal etc. All unsubstantiated and probably nothing more than the required discussions to recut, extend the existing arrangements.I recall at the time a hatful of uninformed speculative posts all designed with that great trading strategy of hope that the government was about to buy out the business. Rubbish then and rubbish today. Let the board focus on finding more, digging it up and selling it at 1900/oz. that will do nicely. As someone just posted if you want a price perfectly correlated to gold buy gold, it's not difficult!!

$1,600+ ave. for Gold in H1 and H2 averaging well over that to date.JORC this month & long awaited underground mining at Gedabek later this year.The 'option' money for Conroy has been funded by the uplift in gold price .. a stunning result for us & for Conroy
