03/9/2020 11:40 | Yes Katsy, but perhaps 'illusion' is more appropriate? The illusion of being wealthier when all that's happening is that fiat currency is being pumped into a balloon. It will all go horribly wrong at some point, and all the players must know this, but I suppose it's become a game of just getting through the next day, keep creating free money, and hoping that something turns up! One wonders what the 'pin' will be that bursts the bubble? Perhaps regardless of who wins the election, it will be the moment of realisation after the election, that it's a busted flush? The time to leave a party is 15 minutes before there's a rush for the door, so would that be a week before the election? | ![]() lefrene

03/9/2020 11:13 | AAZ have always walked the talk, not that they 'talk' very often. They're quite unlike typical AiM companies that talk a lot and deliver very little. There's a jorc due to confirm some of the gold that's in the cupboard, the price of gold has risen considerably which will boost earnings considerably, and there's the Conroy Gold deal for future growth. Money creation is massive, the USA markets are booming on free FED created money whilst the real economy is going down the toilet, one wonders what could possibly go wrong? But all the plates must be kept spinning until the orange man gets another 4 years. | ![]() lefrene
03/9/2020 11:12 | Another cracking line from that interview .. "it's basically nonviolent. You're mass shoplifting. Most stores are insured; it's just hurting insurance companies on some level. It's just money. It's just property. It's not actually hurting any people." OMG !!!!! Were those fires and buildings being destroyed in my imagination ? And what do Insurers do with Premiums if hit hard and who does it effect | ![]() onedayrodders

03/9/2020 10:39 | Everyone is talking like we are producing the same as we were last year. Well we are not. It also looks from what we have been told looking like we will get another fall in production this quarter. Yes we are told Q4 is going to be a bumper quarter, but that is to be seen. Just a little hold up and that is the yearly gold forecast gone. I have no doubt that in time this will all come good again. But i can't see it coming good anytime soon. Maybe when the Jorc comes out. Remember this, profits are only rising because of the gold price. Production is falling. That is what is holding this back. When the results are released, do you think people will be looking at the profit. Or will they just be looking at a production that is falling. | ![]() gold finger 1

03/9/2020 10:09 | The thing about looting is who's doing it? If its done legally, on a monumental scale, where you dont have to see the personal distress of the victims and its not broadcast nightlyon the news, then we just ignore it. The scale of corporate greed, destruction and fraud is probably thousands time greater than all looting ever. | ![]() actonovator

03/9/2020 09:55 | Chaps .. if u have time I urge you to read this interview about a book written by a Joe Biden supporting Democrat...Vicky Osterweil. The book is called "IN DEFENSE OF LOOTING" For a start with a title like that you would expect it to be thrown out on submission but oh no not in the twilight zone good old USA. Here is a snippet from this incredible insane deluded politician...... Can you talk about rioting as a tactic? What are the reasons people deploy it as a strategy? "It does a number of important things. It gets people what they need for free immediately, which means that they are capable of living and reproducing their lives without having to rely on jobs or a wage — which, during COVID times, is widely unreliable or, particularly in these communities is often not available, or it comes at great risk. That's looting's most basic tactical power as a political mode of action. It also attacks the very way in which food and things are distributed. It attacks the idea of property, and it attacks the idea that in order for someone to have a roof over their head or have a meal ticket, they have to work for a boss, in order to buy things that people just like them somewhere else in the world had to make under the same conditions. It points to the way in which that's unjust. And the reason that the world is organized that way, obviously, is for the profit of the people who own the stores and the factories. So you get to the heart of that property relation, and demonstrate that without police and without state oppression, we can have things for free" God help America whoever wins the election | ![]() onedayrodders

03/9/2020 08:15 | Looking like the interims, out in about 2 weeks time, will be the next news release. Maybe the JORCs will come out in front but I doubt it. I'm thinking the most likely bringer of any delight will be the extent to which any dividend hike beats expectation. With this in mind, i though it worth noting this from Polymetal - another gold miner that considers dividends to be a fundamental means of returning value to its shareholders: "As well as raising its payout to investors, the company said it had revised its dividend policy to pay out 50 per cent of adjusted net income for the second half. It said it could pay up to 100 per cent of its free cash flow from 2021 in dividends subject to a net debt-to-ebitda cap of 2.5 times." 100% of FCF and looks like Polymetal carry significant debt too ! Say, AAZ shock us with say a 40% of FCF payout uplift [from 25% policy, though 35% for the final divi announced back in June] for such time as POG>$1700/oz on a 6 monthly historic basis. [Just an indicative possibility] That would be sustainable and might catalyse at least a modest re-rating of the share price into the 170-200p range. Might need companion news to achieve, such as decent JORC and progress on mine development; as dp posted to exploit those down-dip ores. It is in fact a dual down-dip; going ~Eastward from Gadir and ~Westward from main pit. Could even be the 2 marry up at some fine juncture. | ![]() 2sporrans
